Since my first visit over 20 years ago, I have stayed here every year without fail. There are basically two meals in the evening and one in the morning, with dinner at 6pm and breakfast at 7am to 8am. (Time requests can be negotiated)However, if you are planning to arrive late or leave early, it is best to consult with your accommodation. Also, if you request water for drinking in your room, we will provide it for you, so please let us know. There is an indoor bath (hot spring style home bath). The bathtub is large and equipped with jets, and the washing area has four washers, so it is small but spacious. There are also hot spring facilities nearby (Maezawa Onsen Maizuru no Yu and Hiraizumi Onsen Yukyu no Yu), each 5 to 10 minutes away by car.As for the Eternal Hot Spring, you will be issued a bathing ticket at Okiri, so it would be a good idea to consider this as well.Other facilities are the same as a normal guesthouse. It's a few years old, so it feels a bit nostalgic, but the hallways and rooms are well maintained and clean. The washrooms and toilets are shared by both men and women, but they are both neat and clean, so there is no inconvenience.Everyone is very kind, including the energetic and cheerful proprietress and her serious son who is an excellent cook.It is close to the world heritage site Hiraizumi, and the surrounding scenery is very tranquil, beautiful, and nostalgic, and it is easily connected to National Route 4 and the Tohoku Expressway, making it an excellent location and access, making it an excellent base for sightseeing in the surrounding area. . Of course, it's perfect for the season of flowers and green leaves, but I personally find the snowy scenery in winter to be beautiful, so try it during that time as well. For other details, please refer to the separate items below.Once you stay here, you're guaranteed to want to come back again.

I decided to go here after looking at the reviews and photos of the food. The number of dishes is enough to fill your stomach, and it's a perfect way to finish off your meal. I couldn't get to the udon noodles. Maezawa beef is the best! The moment I put it in my mouth, it melted away. I thought I had made a reservation for sukiyaki but it was for shabu-shabu, so I thought it would be sukiyaki in the summer, but when I checked into the hotel, they asked me if I would like shabu-shabu. In fact, when I told him that I wanted to try sukiyaki, he happily agreed to make the change, saying that there was no difference in the ingredients, even though it was so sudden.Even though I ate so much at night, the breakfast was delicious.Even though it was my first time meeting the hostess, I felt nostalgic and it felt like I was visiting my grandma's house. My son who is in charge of cooking is also a nice person. Although it is undeniably old, it is well-maintained and is a comfortable inn in all aspects. I was worried about the unisex toilets, but I didn't get into trouble with anyone. This time I stopped by at Tohoku Shiji Kairou, and I would like to go back to eat there again if I have a chance!

Although we arrived later than the scheduled time, we were warmly welcomed. For dinner, I chose the standard dish, and although it was very delicious, I regret choosing the plan that included wagyu beef. The draft beer I ordered together was also very special. It cannot be denied that the room is old, but it was clean, comfortable, and comfortable. The bathroom was also old, but it was so well cleaned that I couldn't help but take a long bath. Anyway, everyone, including the landlady, was kind and I had a really comfortable stay.

〇Second stay. Not only Maezawa beef, but other items are also wonderful. This is an inn that I don't want to tell anyone about.I'll come back later!〇I came here to eat Maezawa beef.I was surprised when the landlady told me, ``You can bring your own alcohol.''Thank you for your kind words. The portions were perfect and the food was delicious.Maezawa beef can be eaten with sushi or sukiyaki, and the high-quality oil melts it!There were many people staying for consecutive nights, so we changed the menu to accommodate them.I would like to take care of you again.〇The meat is of high quality〇You can get hot spring tickets for free.〇Dinner is full of volume〇You can bring your own alcohol, and ice is also provided.〇It's probably cheaper to book directly with the hotel.〇The landlady is bright and has a great service spirit.〇Many repeat customers and consecutive nights

I was touring Hokkaido and went from Hakodate to Oma, then headed south to Yokohama and on my way back to Yokohama, I really wanted to visit Hiraizumi. This inn is located nearby. It's not a large room, but all private rooms. Enough for one person. Dinner options vary depending on price. Since I had the chance, I chose beef. However, I couldn't finish all the soba noodles. Instead of taking a bath at home, I went to Eikyu-no-Yu, which is about 8 minutes away by motorbike. I am grateful to the landlady for her consideration. Tomorrow we will start gathering information at the tourist center.

The friendly landlady will welcome you.The facilities are old, but the restrooms have been renovated and are well-maintained, so there is no problem with the cleanliness. The food is delicious and plentiful.I thought I should try the Maezawa beef, but I chose the limited-time eel plan. The eel is also delicious. The meat sushi and the soba noodles were both good.It was also okay to bring in drinks. It was an inn that I would definitely want to visit again.

☆Meals~ Maezawa beef seems to be the most popular item, but the other dishes are also quite delicious and the portions are large.☆Customer service~ Personally, I like him because of his kindness and frankness that allows you to spend time without hesitation.☆Room~ A nice view that gives you a sense of history in the morning.☆Hot spring~ Eternal hot springs are nice, but the baths at the inn are also thoroughly cleaned. It might be nice to have some light in your morning bath!

A lovely Ryokan with absolutely amazing food! The lady running it was very sweet. Even though my Japanese is not very good and she spoke quite fast, we managed to make everything work. Overall a really cozy and warm atmosphere and again: best food I've had in Japan. Definitely overate but it just tasted too good! Some things you might want to know: the room gets bright with sunrise and the walls are thin, so sleeping in might be a challenge. It didn't bother me since I'm an early bird anyways and I slept really well! The bus connection from Hiraizumi was also a little worrisome as the busses don't go often and don't run late. Keep that in mind while traveling! You also need to reserve via phone so a Japanese phone number and some Japanese speaking skills (or a friend who can do that for you) are a prerequisite.Overall one of the most fun and tastiest experiences I've had in Japan. If you get the chance, try the wonderful dinner this place has to offer!

Hot springs before dinner, dinner (Maesawa beef shabu-shabu), starting with small dishes, followed by monkfish liver, steamed clams in sake, Maezawa beef nigiri, etc. It was a feast. Furthermore, the rice was also very delicious. Above all, I am very satisfied with the proprietress' good spirit and hospitality. You can bring your own alcohol, so we, who like Japanese sake, drank 3 cups of local sake. It was a dish that went well with alcohol. It's not far enough that I can say I'll go again soon, but I'd like to go see Chusonji in the fall.
