Just do it. Spend a few days in Tono and stay here. Nothing was too much to ask. Drop off at tourist spot ? ✔️ Pick up from station ? ✔️Extra pillows ? ✔️Chase up lost sunglasses ?✔️Offer to attend hospital after bicycle mishap?✔️Daily activity planning ?✔️And my favourite - gluten-free breakfast ? Oh yes ✔️✔️and different every day. You get to put out and pack up futon daily - don't forget to switch slippers. Kudos to Toshihiro.

Loved this place. It’s a little way out of town on the edge of rice fields and apple orchards. We had a car but the owner is happy to pick up. Bikes including electrics can be hired from Tono station. The 12 tatami room we stayed in was spacious and very comfortable with ac, a fan, small fridge, water boiler and tv. Bathroom has separate toilet and a wet room with shower head and bath tub. The owner is a lovely guy who speaks great English and is very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Japan. If you have a car there is plenty of free parking. I would definitely return if I come back to this part of the world.

Best quality in this price range. It's clean and extremely comfortable. The futon was elastic so I didn't have back pain, and the breakfast was delicious. The owner was also smiling and made us feel very comfortable.

Stayed here for 3 nights. I had a comfortable time. The breakfast with a different menu every day was also very delicious. The host was also kind. Recommended for people who rent a car and don't mind not having a convenience store within walking distance.

We spent two nights at this B&B during a 2 week trip to northern Honshu (Tohoku). It is certainly our best stopover and excellent value for money, better than all the other B&Bs we visited. …

When I told them it was my first time in Tono, they provided me with a sightseeing pamphlet, created a detailed bus itinerary plan with time, and provided me with transportation to and from sightseeing spots after breakfast and after checking out. We had a very comfortable trip thanks to you. The Japanese breakfast breakfast was also very delicious, using local ingredients. thank you very much!By the way, if you are planning to walk this far, we strongly recommend that you use a car or a shuttle service, as the slope in front of the inn is tougher than you might imagine.
