Lovely place to stay and relax on my Japan holiday for 2 nights. I didn't eat here as expensive buffet or use the onsen. But room very spacious with good view and comfortable although bed a bit hard. Staff tried their best as I don't speak Japanese but they were very helpful nevertheless. Being the only non Japanese they definitely got to know me as I borrowed a bear bell and a fan as I found the automatic room heating too hot and you can't open the window because of insects. The lounge and table overlooking the window was lovely to sit and relax as the weather was terrible for much of the day.Make sure to visit the Mori bridge about 20 minutes walk and come back through the prefecture park. It's delightful in Autumn.

I was debating between Appi Kogen and Hachimantai and decided to stay at this hotel in Hachimantai. There were many mountain roads along the way, and there were no street lights, so it was dark, so I wasn't sure if I was going to make it, but I managed to get there. Is there another way?Anyway, it's so deep in the mountains that there are only lodging facilities nearby, so if you're staying without meals, you'll have to eat before you come. The room was spacious and easy to use. The view from the window was mountains. That doesn't mean it looks far away, but the trees are right there. The souvenir shop was large and had sample samples, and there was a drink bar and three types of ice cream in the lobby to enjoy after your bath. You can use it not only after taking a bath but also at any time during your stay. However, the only time available is when you can use the hot springs. You can pay by yourself in your room, but it's easier to go to the front desk. The smell of the hot springs wafts through the front desk, lobby, and hallways.I guess it can't be helped, but I don't understand why a bath tax is charged even if you don't enter the hot springs, no matter where you stay.Isn't it possible to just collect the tax from those who enter?

I came here to see the autumn leaves. Since it was a weekday, it was quiet. I enjoyed stargazing at night.

It was great to be able to stay at a cheap price with a limited number of rooms.I didn't have high expectations because it was cheap, but it exceeded my expectations. There was a full menu of meat at night, and the roast beef and spare ribs were delicious. The wild grape curry was novel, but it was delicious! ! Curry was available both in the morning and at night. The hot springs were sulfur springs and felt good. The room had been renovated and was beautiful 🙂I would like to visit you again if I have a chance.

Three people stayed here. There were beds for 3 people and we were able to spend a comfortable time. The food was also delicious.Unfortunately, the toilet in the room does not have a washlet, which is why I gave it 4 stars.
