We thank Shida-san and his wife who welcomed us with great kindness. The meal was delicious, prepared with the crab, fish, sea urchins etc. caught by Shida-san. We spent a very nice evening with the owners, chatting a lot despite the language barrier. If you are doing the Michinoku coastal trail, this is a stop not to be missed.

This is all the fresh seafood (crabs, octopuses, turban shells, monkfish, black-throated fish, etc.) that the crab fisherman's husband has caught himself. I'm sorry I couldn't finish eating. The gentle customer service from the hostess is also wonderful❗I will go again!! ️

We stayed here for one night as a part of our monthlong trek on the Michinoku Coastal Trail. It is a very basic inn with a shared bathroom and shower and simple accommodations. But everything was very clean and nice and very quiet. The innkeeper and his wife are so friendly and were so welcoming. And the dinner was absolutely amazing - fresh seafood caught that day by the innkeeper and more food than we could possibly eat. It was a very warm and special experience for us.

Accommodation using Rikuzentakata Wari. Normally 7,500 yen per night and 2 meals, but stay for 3,500 yen. The breakfast and evening meals are full of volume, and since we stayed in November, which is hairy crab season, we also included one crab per person, making it the best value for money hotel. The innkeeper said he was going to catch crabs again tonight. There are unisex toilets, one on the first floor and one on the second floor, and one bath, but there are three washing areas and it is spacious.

The very kind host generously serves the hairy crabs, shellfish, and fish he catches while fishing. All of the wife's home-cooked meals were delicious and there was more than I could finish. The breakfast had a surprising number of items and they were all delicious. It was a guesthouse with a very good atmosphere and service. There is also a hot spring facing the sea nearby, which seems to be recommended.

A family of four with two young daughters came from Tokyo to take care of us.They apologized and said, ``The water temperature is too high right now, so we're sorry,'' but they served us a huge amount of sea urchin, sashimi, and simmered dishes, all of which were so delicious that we couldn't finish them all.My husband and I were moved by the warm personality of everyone at the guest house. It's a really nice inn and I would like to go there again.
