I stayed here for one night on January 19th.It's a warm space that feels like home.Breakfast was included, the room was spacious, and it was very comfortable. The room also has an electronic key, so you don't have to worry about losing your key.The bath is a little small, so you can reserve it in hourly increments. The living room/restaurant on the first floor also provides hot water, coffee, and tea.The owner loves photography, and the photos displayed here are ones he took himself. The photo of the frost-covered trees with Mt. Iwate in the background is really nice. I would also like to see such a view. The breakfast was also delicious and had just the right amount. The parking lot can accommodate approximately 4 cars. This is a guesthouse that I would like to come back to again.

I had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. The onsen was great and the couple who run the place are just so lovely. The breakfasts were also great. I would recommend this place highly to anyone who throughly enjoyspeace and quiet!

Although I came alone after the autumn leaves had already fallen, I still had a pleasant time staying here and exploring the area. The building itself was luxurious and comfortable. The interior was warm and welcoming. The room was spotless, of course, although there were some fiddly issues with the shower (which didn't matter because I visited the local hot spring baths).I must say, the hospitality and food were excellent. Delicious and well-presented breakfast which had a European appeal. On the second morning, they played some classic jazz in the dining room and I felt like a king. The host and hostess were kind and helpful and also knew when to just let me do my own thing. I was the only guest at the time so it was a little lonely, but that was my own choice to travel alone. This is a great place to come with a partner or group, especially during spring, summer, fall, or snowy winter. Post-autumn leaves but pre-snow was a bit bleak and desolate in the town...but if you like quietude, you'll be in luck.If you come to this region, this place is the best choice. I would definitely stay here again - especially if planning to do an extra long hike up Mt. Iwate to see the geothermal attractions. It's a great base camp for hiking or skiing. Literally down the street from the local bus stop. Walking distance to local public hot spring bath.

Lost hotel in the middle of a ski resort which is falling into disrepair, that's what I expected. On the other hand, the non-existent shower (it's not a pressure problem, it's downright zero pressure) and a poorly maintained onsen that stinks of rotten eggs, that was the surprise. The little old people who run the establishment may be very nice but should take a well-deserved rest. The establishment is not worth its 2 stars and clearly not its price. Null.

I used it when climbing Mt. Iwate in July. The lounge-like space on the first floor had a very open atrium and was decorated with various things, giving it a wonderful atmosphere. The breakfast we had there was very delicious. On the second floor, there were beautiful local photos and photo albums, which I enjoyed. The fatigue of mountain climbing was healed in a calm space. I would like to visit again if I have a chance.

We stayed during ski season. If you use your car's navigation system, you will be directed to a different location.I was able to find it using Google Maps. The owner wasn't the friendly guy you usually find in pensions, but he had a serious atmosphere and answered all my questions. The public bath is a hot spring, but you can't use it in the morning. The water pressure in the shower was surprisingly low, even in other countries, and even if you turned your head upwards, it wouldn't come up.The water pressure in the shower in the room was similar. The shower in the room had a mixer tap, but the temperature could hardly be adjusted and only very hot water or no water came out, making it unusable.According to the owner, the problem was due to the water pipes being old and becoming clogged.Perhaps because of this, the first time I used the faucet in my room, brown water came out.As for the cleaning, there was hair on the toilet paper holder and the chair in the room was covered in hair, so it didn't seem like it was being cleaned properly. Also, there were stink bugs on the bed.The breakfast bread and omelets were delicious.Pensions may be a good idea for you if you are comfortable with such things, but if you are not, you may want to think about it.

Stayed for 2 nights in feb. It was a sat and sun night and i was the only person. Rooms were nice, very easy to keep warm, onsen was nice but maybe only enough space for 2. Breakfast was more than I could finish and delicious. Owners are very sweet people and I hope to come back and stay again.
