At check-in, we were introduced to recommended restaurants in the area based on our requests. All the staff were very kind and cheerful. It was quite difficult to control the temperature of the shower in the room, so it was either hot or cold. After looking at the replies to other people's reviews, it seems like it would be difficult to fix, so I thought it would be better to use another hot spring. Also, although there were two shared toilets on the same floor, they were unisex, so I thought it would be better if they were separated by gender.I don't know about the sound insulation as there was only one other person staying there, but people who are sensitive to outside noise may be concerned about it.The location was very good and there were various shops nearby. It's also close to Sun Beach.

There are Atami Pudding and Fish Shokudo nearby, so the location was very good! However, I was afraid to stay there because there was no staff, it was dark and unpopular, and it looked old. As soon as I entered, I saw a bath illuminated with pink lights, and I thought it was a haunted house. I kept thinking that it would be nice if there were other people staying there. . The room was spacious with a sofa, sink, and shower on the first floor, and futons on the second floor. At night, I could hear loud voices from outside and the rattling sound of the air conditioner. I thought it might have been better to choose a different inn that was a little more expensive. I think people who are not looking for an ideal place to stay can enjoy themselves here♪

Since it was the peak season for the fireworks festival, there were no other accommodation options, so we booked the last available room several months in advance.Check in at another dormitory nearby. For some reason, the receptionist's explanation changed to Japanese. Did I look that young? That's okay though. The prices are reasonable for the time of year, but the facilities come at a price.First of all, even though it is a hot spring area, there is no bathtub, only a shower. And it's shared. In Atami, none of the day trip hot springs are open after 9pm. I have no choice but to take a shower, but the hot water doesn't come out easily. The water that comes out is so small that it feels like it's stinging my body. The toilet is also shared. The atmosphere of the room is good. The futon and refrigerator were good. But the cup was somehow dirty and I didn't feel like using it. There's no razor. The biggest problem is that there is almost no heat insulation and sound insulation. The air conditioner gets hot as soon as you turn it off, and the sound insulation means you can hear almost every voice outside clearly... It's an entertainment district, so there are people walking by until late at night, and it wakes you up. I can also hear snoring.Well, still, I can't say it's luxurious because the price is high at this time of year. I think it is suitable for people who want to stay at a reasonable price.

A neo-retro inn located next to a long-established movie theater that once existed in Atami.Reception will be held at the guest house Maruya-san.Each room seems to have its own concept, and the room I stayed in had an avant-garde and erotic atmosphere with the lighting and pink rug. It's not often that you can stay in a location overlooking a shopping street, so I enjoyed the atmosphere of the room and the extraordinary feeling.(If you stay on a Saturday, there are people drinking around the shopping district until midnight, so if you can't sleep due to noisy noise, you might need earplugs.)Cups, saucers, kettles and tea bags were also provided.I had a nice tea time with the cake I bought from Mont Blanc 🫖It feels like a European apartment with just a wash basin in each room.By the way, there is no bath, but there is a shower.Towels are provided, so I was advised to bring them with me and use Nikkotei, which is within walking distance.I took a bath in the morning and Nikkotei was very nice!

Romance Kado. I only took a tour when I stayed at Maruya, but I like the atmosphere. The building, which used to be a kimono shop, was renovated, and next door was a movie theater called Romance-za. The reception is at Guesthouse Maruya, so this hotel only has rooms. This is the second inn after Maruya. Each room has its own concept, and the interior design is different and interesting. Actresses, movie directors, writers, artists, strippers, etc. We are also considering collaborating with companies for each room. The writer's room looked nice. It would be nice to stay here next time.

A fusion of Showa retro, erotic and emo.Be captivated by the exquisite atmosphere hereNo doubt. It will have a guest house atmosphere. There are no staff members. Please check in and check out at Guest House Maruya, which is a 3-minute walk away. There we received the card key and headed to the hotel. Please note that there are only two rooms with a shower and toilet.Rooms 301 and 401 have a shower and toilet. The other rooms do not have a shower or toilet, so you will need to use the shared toilet and shower booth on the second floor. It will be a very nice hotel. It was built making full use of the original building←Minor complaints such as the thinness of the walls and the time it takes to adjust the shower temperature are things I would like you to overcome here.If you approach it as a normal business hotel, it's easy to complain, but if you know the atmosphere and the history of this building, I think it's a hotel you can fully enjoy. The souvenir shop next door called New Atami was so cute that I visited it many times.Atami.It's a wonderful city. While preserving these retro Showa era buildings.New stores are also being built.I felt very emotional.thank you very much.I will come back to Atami.
