It was more beautiful than I expected, but the futon was damp and uncomfortable.It's a shame because Mt. Yotei and the starry sky from the window are amazing.

I used it the night before climbing Mt. Yotei.The inside of the building was very clean ✨ The facilities were well equipped and it was extremely comfortable!The room was a relaxing Japanese-style room similar to an inn, and the futon was fluffy so I had a good night's sleep.The location is great, close to Makkari Onsen.

Thank you for your help in August. It may have been rebuilt, but unlike previous reviews, there is a toilet on the second floor, and although it is simple, the interior is new and clean.Although we were the only ones there that day, it was well-maintained, and the bedding and towels in the bathroom were crisp and clean, making us feel comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious.It's also great that you can walk to Makkari Onsen and Restaurant Maccarina, and best of all, you can see the wonderful view of Mt. Yotei right in front of you.

I quickly found a place to stay and called.I was told that it was OK to stay overnight without meals, so I decided to use it.Although the building was simple, the rooms were separate and well-organized.It was a guesthouse-like house, much different from the old youth hostels.You can see the majestic Mt. Yotei from the window.The Makkari trailhead of Mt. Yotei is just 5 minutes away, making it the perfect location for mountain climbing, and there is also a hot spring nearby, so please take advantage of it.Seikoma and Seven are a little far away, so it might be difficult to get there if you don't have a car.

You can see Mt. Yotei beautifully from your room 😊The room is only on the 2nd floor. It was a shame that there was no toilet on the second floor, but after that it was comfortable.Thank you for your help.

The room is very clean and the bed is not the best, but I think it's good.The second floor is the guest room, and when you go up the stairs there is a common space with comics, playing cards, etc. The first floor has a dining room, toilets and bathrooms. The bath is no different from a home bath, so if you have time, we recommend going to the nearby Makkari Onsen. There are various anime items such as toothbrushes and towels at the front desk, and there are vending machines in the dining room. (Beer available) When you open the window, you can see the magnificent Mt. Yotei and it's amazing!

Dorms seem to function as single rooms, so this make this place very good value (¥3'250 for YH members). No common room. Hot water but no tea or coffee. Book well ahead for dinner and breakfast: I arrived at 3pm and it was too late for either. Friendly and helpful manager. Free wifi.
