The food was very delicious. There was a wood-burning stove and it was very relaxing. The husband came into the room to take care of the firewood, so I felt a little uneasy. Perhaps because it was a guest house, there were no pots, cups, tea or water, so I had a problem when I wanted to drink water. We recommend that you bring your own.

Apparently it's only open on Tuesdays, and the lunch was very delicious.

A lovely family run guesthouse. The shared living room space has a wood stove which was very warm. We saw that they had the capacity to take two teams of guests (maybe more?) - we saw 2 conjoined rooms next to living room and we had the room in an annex loft. One inconvenience is if you need the bathroom in the middle of the night and you are in the annex room as you have to go down the small deep steps to use the toilet (bathroom is also below). Otherwise the hospitality at this place was excellent and everything was clean and well kept.

This is a wonderful guest house where you can stay in the history of Uda Matsuyama itself. The tea porridge breakfast is also delicious and recommended. The convenience store is far away, but the parking lot is right in front, so it's convenient. You can enjoy a fun night that is different from the hotel.
