We stayed here for one night as a family of 3 adults who love picture books. It looks like an ordinary apartment from the outside, but inside is a stylish space with more picture books than you can read! I'm surprised by this gap. There are many picture books from Japan and abroad that I have never read before, so even adults can enjoy them. Only beer and no pizza in the freezer? Therefore, we recommend that you purchase food and soft drinks from a nearby convenience store or bring your own. Also, if you put a futon in the tatami room, it might have been easier to eat if there was a desk and chair in the kitchen. In any case, it's a hotel that adults and children alike can enjoy all day long, so I would recommend it to my friends. This is a hotel that I would definitely like to visit again.

My wife, my 8 year old daughter, and I stayed here for one night.As soon as you open the entrance door, you'll see EHON picture books everywhere you look. There are so many interesting books lined up in each room (even in the toilet and bath!) that I can't finish reading them no matter how many times I read them. In addition to Japanese picture books, we also have picture books in Italian, Spanish, and Czech.[Until a few years ago, I had no choice but to be satisfied with the level of ``even if I can't read the text, it's fun just looking at the pictures.''But now it's different! (Gush!)Since the Google Lens app was released in 2017, it has become possible to translate foreign words you don't know into Japanese (as long as you can understand what's written) just by holding your smartphone's camera over a picture book. It was! ]When it comes to meals, I'm grateful that I can bring in food, cook it, store frozen pizza in the freezer, or buy it from a nearby Lawson.As others have written, facilities such as water supply are designed to be easy for children to use, and electrical outlets are placed at a height that is out of reach of young children.A moderately fluffy futon will also help you get a good night's sleep, but if you usually sleep in an environment where the morning sun doesn't shine through, it might be a good idea to bring an eye mask.I haven't read the book yet, and I couldn't go to the park in the back mountain because of the rain, so I'd definitely like to use it again.

I stayed there for one night as a family of 4 with my 0 and 3 year old children. First of all, the room is very spacious! Of course there are many picture books, but I was also impressed by the room design and toys that embody Montessori education.In the sink at a child's height, she was able to brush her teeth, which she usually hates, and was happy to take a bath thanks to a picture book that she could play with in the bath.On the day I stayed, it rained heavily and my clothes got dirty, but I was able to wash and dry them inside the Ehon Hotel, which was very helpful.The large kitchen was stocked with pots, tableware, and even simple seasonings, so next time I'd like to bring in some ingredients and try cooking with my kids.Also, after checking out, I was able to run around and play in the park right behind the Ehon Hotel, which was great!I didn't have enough time to visit once, so I would like to stay again. I'm jealous of the people living nearby because I think they can enjoy it even with a day trip plan!

I learned about Ehon Hotel on TV. I was interested, so I immediately applied for the Day-Use afternoon session (14:00-17:00). On that day, I went with my daughter, son, and granddaughters who are 2 and 5 years old. There was an explanation that there was a ``Wanpaku Forest'' behind the building, so I prepared a lunch box and headed out early.``Wanpaku no Mori'' had plenty of fun for children, including handmade swings, seesaws, and walking on mountain paths.It was time, so I went to the “Ehon Hotel”!I'm already excited from the information board in front of the entrance. When my 5-year-old granddaughter opened the door, she could smell the scent of wood and then exclaimed with joy, "Wow!" When I looked, there were picture books all over the wall! I didn't know where to enter the room (lol) When I entered the room, my granddaughter was overjoyed! The walls of the Japanese-style room, dining kitchen, and even the bathroom were lined with picture books. There were plenty of elements for children to enjoy, including a white board for drawing, a wall of building blocks, a peephole, a bench inside a bookcase, and even a toilet.I think there were a lot of Italian books overseas. In the kitchen, there were picture books in both Japanese and foreign languages lined up all over the wall, which was interesting.I don't have a clock or TV, but I thought it would be nice to spend time like this once in a while. Both the adults and my two granddaughters enjoyed it without getting bored ♪ The accommodation facilities are well-equipped, so I would like to stay overnight next time (^^)I wish there were more hotels like this 🌟2022.3.16

I stayed here from January 15th to January 16th, 2022.It was spectacular to see picture books lined up as soon as you entered the entrance, but the door leading to the living room was like a hidden door, so you could enjoy it from the moment you entered.The rooms are spacious and have tatami mats, so you can relax and forget about the time.There were no clocks or televisions, so I felt that the emphasis was placed on interacting with picture books and face-to-face interaction with family and friends.For meals, frozen pizza, drinks, and coffee are available for a fee, so you don't have to worry about coming empty-handed.(You may want to bring your own food and drinks for small children.)By the way, everything is made in Nara, and there is also a flyer introducing the shop, so if you are interested, I think it would be a good idea to visit ✋Basically, you can check in and check out without contacting the staff, so there is no interpersonal contact, and I felt that it was a new form of accommodation during the coronavirus pandemic. (However, even if there is a problem, you can have peace of mind knowing that it will be dealt with quickly!)If you use it in the middle of winter, your feet will get a little cold, so I thought it would be a good idea to have a blanket to keep you warm.We had a really fun time creating the interior, which involved lots of fun. Since my children were small, I couldn't fully enjoy the picture books, so I wanted to stay again when they were a little older.Overall we had a wonderful time.thank you very much.
