Visit date 2024.05.18-19 (Saturday and Sunday)It was almost full as it was Saturday and Sunday. It was a very pleasant capping place, very quiet during the day and night, and the customers were all well-mannered.This was my first time on a gravel site, and it was raining the next day when I was leaving, but the gravel was nice because it kept my stuff from getting covered in mud.The site is terraced like rice terraces. You can see the lower site from the upper site, but it doesn't really matter. There was a road on one side and a fence on the other side, so I didn't have to worry about that either. There were two toilets and kitchens, one above and one below, and they were well kept and clean.Showers were located in the administration building.A very clear river was flowing nearby. It seems like they rent fishing rods with bait, so I wonder if they can swim in the summer?Small children will have fun as there is playground equipment nearby at the campground where they can play. There is a hot spring nearby and you can't go there unless you go by car.The size of the site is 70-100 square meters, ours was 70 square meters. There were two deck sites, but there were stairs to get there, so it might be a little difficult to carry luggage. However, it's a hidden place where you can see a beautiful river when you look down, so it might be good for people who don't have much luggage.I would love to go back to this quiet campsite.2024.08.20-21This time I went solo camping at the deck site. The luggage is carried from the top to the bottom using a pulley, so even if you had a little too much luggage, the distance to get to the site was short, so it wasn't an inconvenience. The site was shaded by trees, so it was cool even in summer. As expected, it was 18℃ in the morning and it was very easy to sleep.

It's my favorite place to relax. The administrators are all wonderful people and are working hard. Privacy is protected and it is clean. Is it for families only? It is quiet and the lights are turned off at 10pm in the morning.Right next to the lodge (administration building)Park at the reception parking lot → Reception → Park again at the designated location.Check-in from 2pm. It's 11 o'clock out.During summer vacation, the temperature is 32℃ in the afternoon and 20℃ in the morning. In the Kansai area, it's about -5 degrees Celsius, but we don't like the heat so we bring three electric fans into our bungalow. It's cold even before I go to bed and in the morning. We don't have bedding, so we also have futons, mats, cots, and a barbecue stove and charcoal.Bungalows have different facilities than cottages, so be sure to check before making a reservation. The cottage has a kitchen and bathroom. We sell ice, ice cream, firewood, etc. There are vending machines for drinks. The river is as cold as ice water. The heat will blow away. The clarity is a little cloudy after rain, but it's basically crystal clear and very beautiful. The flow is calm in some places, steep in others, suddenly deep and shallow, and slippery in rocky areas. Please take good care of your child. Life jackets are required.・Barbecues and fires are prohibited in the river according to local regulations.・The river is rocky. pop-up tentThere is no space for leisure seats.・Do not leave your luggage on other people's footholds.・Please keep in mind that river use may be prohibited due to heavy rain or typhoons.・Rain may cause water to rise and dams to release water. You will hear announcements and alarms, so be sure to stay away from the river. The river is usually calm, but be sure to check the weather and listen to announcements before you go.

A must-see for river lovers. Auto camping and bungalows are also fully equipped as facilities. No Wi-FiThe signal is also weak inside the facility. If you come to camp, there are several places in the area, but this was my second time here. The bungalow is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, etc., and is not affected by the climate. The facility is fully equipped with a shower, so you don't have to worry about coming with all the basic utilities!I will enjoy it☺️

I used it before Obon in August. Even though it was extremely hot in Osaka, reaching over 35 degrees Celsius, the site was in a wooded area, so it was cool and I didn't have trouble sleeping at night. The site is very clean and has gravel, but it's nice that the goods don't get dirty. It depends on the weather, but the stars were beautiful in the night sky and I even saw shooting stars. The children were very happy to see the starry sky that cannot be seen in the city. The river is deep in some parts, but once you get to the top, even small children can safely play on their feet (life jackets are provided). It's a really good campsite, but the problem is that there are some places where you can't go when there are oncoming cars, but I would like to come again.

I used Cottage 8 for one night. Cottage 5 was not available at the time of reservation, and it was luxuriously spacious for a family of four, but it was close to the river, so we ended up choosing this one. When I arrived at exactly 2 o'clock, I was told to temporarily park my car in front of the cottage, put my luggage in the room, and then park my car again between the entrance and the information desk. Then check in at the information desk. The information center also sells ice from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Ice cream was sold for 170 yen and 180 yen.The weather was downhill, so we entered the river right after check-in (the access is a bit steep and wild stairs, so it might be difficult for small children). After playing for an hour, a thunderstorm came, so we ended up playing in the river, which was extremely beautiful and cold. The water was cold, so I hurriedly heated a bath. The bath was spacious and had two showers, allowing four parents and children to bathe at the same time. Although we were warned not to keep the hot water running for more than 30 minutes, everyone managed to warm it up within the time. Afterwards, we enjoyed a barbecue (we didn't use a stove, but instead used a tabletop stove and griddle that we brought with us, so cleaning up was easy. However, if we use a charcoal stove, we don't leave it untouched; we wash everything except the grill to make sure it's clean.) It's convenient because the dishes are all there. After dinner, I wash them in the sink with the sponge I brought with me.) By 7:00, the rain had stopped, so I grabbed a hand-held fireworks in the square (it's dark, so I need a lantern. There's a place to dispose of the burnt remains of the fireworks. ) At 9 o'clock, I finished getting ready for bed and turned off the lights. Everyone else also kept to the 10 o'clock lights out time. There was also a heavy thunderstorm from midnight to early morning, so I was really glad I stayed at the cottage. It's a bit hot and humid even at night, so I appreciate an air conditioner, so I make full use of the refrigerator, stove, rice cooker, range, and toaster. Even selfish city kids were able to enjoy a comfortable camping experience.

I went camping in Tenkawa Village, which I had always dreamed of, and it was a good campsite as per the previous reviews. I went there in late April. Looking at the temperature, it was around 10 degrees Celsius at night, so I brought a heating device with me, but it wasn't really necessary. The sun was strong and hot during the day, but the campsite was in the forest so it wasn't too hot. So it seems to be more popular in the summer. There is a play area for children to enjoy, but it is usually locked and play time is limited, but this was not explained to me at the reception, so I didn't really understand. It would be best to ask for an explanation at the reception.Everyone had good manners, and this was explained to them at the reception. It got really quiet at 10 o'clock at night, so I was able to spend a relaxing time. I'm woken up early in the morning by the chirping of the Japanese Red-crowned Nightclub, but I guess that's also charming.Check-in was at 2:00 noon, and since it was Golden Week, I left early to avoid traffic jams, so I was running out of time, and even though I arrived before 2:00, I wasn't able to check in. I was able to park my car and take a walk around the area. You have to drive to the hot springs, but there are shower rooms at the campsite.Tenkawa Village has good access to transportation, is easy to drive after getting off the highway, and is popular for sightseeing, so I think the mountain roads are not too steep and easy to get to. The price is a little high, but I would like to go again because the atmosphere is good in the forest, the manners are good, and you can spend a relaxing time!
