I used Cottage 8 for one night. Cottage 5 was not available at the time of reservation, and it was luxuriously spacious for a family of four, but it was close to the river, so we ended up choosing this one. When I arrived at exactly 2 o'clock, I was told to temporarily park my car in front of the cottage, put my luggage in the room, and then park my car again between the entrance and the information desk. Then check in at the information desk. The information center also sells ice from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Ice cream was sold for 170 yen and 180 yen.The weather was downhill, so we entered the river right after check-in (the access is a bit steep and wild stairs, so it might be difficult for small children). After playing for an hour, a thunderstorm came, so we ended up playing in the river, which was extremely beautiful and cold. The water was cold, so I hurriedly heated a bath. The bath was spacious and had two showers, allowing four parents and children to bathe at the same time. Although we were warned not to keep the hot water running for more than 30 minutes, everyone managed to warm it up within the time. Afterwards, we enjoyed a barbecue (we didn't use a stove, but instead used a tabletop stove and griddle that we brought with us, so cleaning up was easy. However, if we use a charcoal stove, we don't leave it untouched; we wash everything except the grill to make sure it's clean.) It's convenient because the dishes are all there. After dinner, I wash them in the sink with the sponge I brought with me.) By 7:00, the rain had stopped, so I grabbed a hand-held fireworks in the square (it's dark, so I need a lantern. There's a place to dispose of the burnt remains of the fireworks. ) At 9 o'clock, I finished getting ready for bed and turned off the lights. Everyone else also kept to the 10 o'clock lights out time. There was also a heavy thunderstorm from midnight to early morning, so I was really glad I stayed at the cottage. It's a bit hot and humid even at night, so I appreciate an air conditioner, so I make full use of the refrigerator, stove, rice cooker, range, and toaster. Even selfish city kids were able to enjoy a comfortable camping experience.
