I was shown the garden.I paid 500 yen, but with this kind of content, I don't even need it for free.I had already admired wonderful gardens such as Kenrokuen, Korakuen, Kokoen, Adachi Museum of Art, and Nezu Museum of Art, so I felt regretful that I had paid 500 yen for a garden like this.It wasn't well maintained, and the narrow roads along the way were covered in spider webs, and I went crazy when I saw the spider webs clinging to my face.Honestly, I want my money back.

I only saw the garden. To be honest, I didn't feel it was worth the 500 yen, but even though it was Golden Week, there were no people around, so I was able to rest quietly. Also, since it is the season of fresh greenery, I was able to enjoy various types of greenery. Finally, I took a quick look inside the ryokan, but the staff seemed cold to me.

The place where the thick eyebrow boy lives is not only a hotel, but also a Buddhist temple and historical site. There are many precious antiques on display in the hotel, such as the lunch box used by Toyotomi Hideyoshi when he came to Yoshinoyama to enjoy the cherry blossoms. There were only tatami mats and a coffee table in the room, and no other furniture. It had been a long time since the thick eyebrow boy had stayed in such a traditional Japanese hotel.Free desserts and delicious tea are provided in the room. The two of them have walked so much today, so they just take this opportunity to relax. There is an antique telephone in the room that still works. The thick-browed boy remembers seeing it when he was a child, and he is not sure whether he still knows how to use this thing to make calls. The toilet in the room is a bit old, but it is still clean and hygienic. The bathroom was also quite dilapidated, but both of them planned to take a bath in the large bath, so it wasn't a big problem. The terrace is blocked by some unattractive buildings, and you can barely see a few cherry blossoms.

In order to apply for the special nighttime viewing of Mt. Kinpusen, I had to stay at a nearby inn, so I stayed at one that had good reviews. The equipment was aging and the cleaning had not kept up, and the entire building was looking gloomy. There was moss on the floor of the public bath, and there was a little dust on the shelves in the changing room. The tatami mats in the room were yellow and looked like they hadn't been changed for a long time. There were stains in several places in the room, and the bowl of sweets in the room was also dirty. Two of the three women's restrooms are Japanese-style.The private room had a key, but the entrance door was left open and the only Western-style room was at the front, so I was worried that I might be hearing noises outside. Also, there was no electricity in the private room and it was dimly lit, so it was very uncomfortable to go to the bathroom at night. The cheapest plan was 19,800 yen per person, and there was no bathroom. The second meal was not very tasty either, we were forced to eat it in a conference room, and the food was not commensurate with the price.I had a strong desire to check out early.

Pleasant stay in this ryokan. The concept changes from sanitized hotels and you can discover a bit of traditional habits: sleeping on a futon, super thin walls, a very sober and stripped-down style. …

Pretty dated ryokan. Location was pretty good just 5 mins up the hill from the bus stop at nakasenbon (450 yen). Service was kinda meh for a ryokan perhaps cause they were understaffed. Food was pretty good and filling, but it was strange that i couldnt order beer to add on with my food. For a tourist attraction, the garden wasn't too impressive.

This is one of the lowest level inns in my life. They serve cold, low-quality, and tasteless food that looks like something for students on a school trip. It tasted so bad that I couldn't eat it. The inside of the building is old and could be called a three-star hotel. The bathroom is also old and dirty. The service is also terrible. The building was built too large and was unable to be maintained, leaving it in disrepair, making it impossible to run the hotel without ripping off the guests. The location and garden are wonderful, so only casual visitors like us come here. If there are customers who like this place and keep coming back, I feel sorry for them, thinking that they have never stayed at a proper ryokan. I feel sorry for you because you have never eaten anything delicious. We stayed during the cherry blossom season, so the cost was 50,000 yen per person per night. It is the most memorable time in my life that I have ever been ripped off to this extent, and I am astonished. A really bad inn. The garden is wonderful, so you only need to visit the garden. Don't stay overnight.
