I was looking for an inn near Soni Plateau, and I came across this inn and decided to stay there. My wife was a little disappointed that there was no TV in the room, but we ended up having a great conversation and had a wonderful time. For the meal, the aged sweetfish pickled in Nanban was surprisingly delicious, and the salt-grilled sweetfish was crispy from head to tail and very delicious. The meat in my first button hotpot was delicious, but I was also impressed by how delicious the crispy fat was. Also, the unique dashi soup was so delicious that I drank it all.The homemade rock bath can also be reserved for private use, so we were able to take a relaxing bath. Finally, the only drawbacks were that both of the soaps for hand washing in the bathroom were empty, and that the toilet was unisex and did not have a washlet.I would like to visit again when the leaves are fresh.

I used it at a sweetfish fishing inn. I think it's good to know the information to use it as a fishing lodge. Also, the bath is good. The room is only for sleeping, but the food is delicious. There are no tourist spots, so it's not a tourist inn. I will evaluate it for fishing purpose!

Low rating as an accommodation facility.Letters of gratitude from guests are plastered all over the restaurant, perhaps a sign of past glory.・A used mask from a previous customer comes out from the hem of a loungewear.・There is no body soap in the bathroom. Another customer pointed this out during dinner, but it remained empty the next day.- Midges were coming out of the lid of the breakfast pot. It was probably something that had been nesting inside and was exposed by the heat.・The neck of the futon is very yellow and uncomfortable.・Shishinabe has a strong sour taste and a strong taste. The others are delicious.・While you are eating, the hostess stays next to you. I'm restless. It's a good base for the Soni Plateau, but it's best to be prepared.

I stayed for one night with two meals included and the peony hotpot course. First of all, the food was delicious, the peony hotpot with miso soup stock was exquisite, and unexpectedly we were also served salt-grilled sweetfish, which was out of season. The bath was a private family bath, and it was a calming size that you could bathe at any time. Thank you very much for providing us with the amenities that we had forgotten to prepare. You can relax in a super retro old private house, and it's in a great location, about a 10-minute drive from Soni Plateau. This time my husband and I spent a vacation together, but next time we'll consider using it for touring. My wife was also very happy with the price, which included breakfast and accommodation for the price of eating peony hotpot at a restaurant.

This is an inn that makes use of a gassho-style private house. The natural peony hot pot made with the owner's homemade dashi is very delicious! Natural boar meat has no odor and is easy to eat.The rice, tempura, and salt-grilled river fish cooked in a clay pot for one person were completely homemade and delicious. You can bathe in the handmade rock bath all night long. All you can see around here is the scenery of Satoyama. Relax in the countryside sceneryWhen I spoke with the owner, he told me about the traditional lifestyle of Satoyama and the history of Soni Village, which was very interesting.Points to note・There is no rental of bath towels.・There is no TV.・Old houses can get cold in the fall and winter, so take measures to protect yourself from the cold.

Thank you for visiting Soni Plateau and Mt. Kurusonzan. For dinner, we had wild boar hotpot and sweetfish. I had the ayu grilled with salt, pickled in Nanban, and ayu rice, all of which were very delicious without the smell of river fish. All of them were delicious, but the deliciousness of the rice combined with the sweetfish rice meant that I ate up a full serving of Kamataki (so much so that I had leftover side dishes). It was my first time to eat river fish pickled in Nanban, and it was so delicious that I wanted to eat another one.It was my first time to eat wild boar hotpot, but it didn't taste like wild animal at all (I was worried), and it was a delicious hot pot that had a ``meat-like'' feel to it.Our room was also upgraded and we were able to spend our time very comfortably. The owner's handmade rock bath was a bathtub that you could soak up to your shoulders, and it was changed to look like a family bath, so I was able to have a relaxing time.Thank you for your warm welcome even though I was late for check-in. It was also fun to talk after the meal.I would like the shopkeeper to live long and do his best until he can ``overtake'' his family's age.

I was invited to a different space with a retro Showa era feel. The surrounding area is rich in nature, with Mt. Kabuto, Mt. Yoirodake and Mt. Kuruson towering in front of you, as well as the vivid Soni Plateau, making it an outstanding location. At the old folk house, you can enjoy a splendid rock bath, a bonito hotpot, and salt-grilled sweetfish, as well as more white rice than you can eat🍚Breakfast was delicious and very satisfying😋The price is reasonable and I definitely want to go again 😊
