After the wedding ceremony at Omiwa Shrine, we had a wedding reception at Taishoro.I was soothed by the retro atmosphere of the room and the beautiful courtyard, along with the food that made the Japanese-style reception even more brilliant. My family was very happy that the food was luxurious and delicious! As part of the presentation for the reception, I suggested that we hang a noren curtain on the magnificent entrance gate, and I was very happy that they agreed to it! Thank you so much for making our ideal reception a reality! It was a wonderful memory with my family!

The rooms and other facilities are old, but well maintained. Maybe it was because it was busy and full on that day that they were a little short on staff. The dinner time I had told them in advance was incorrect, and I felt like the meal was a bit rushed. However, the staff were nice. Above all, the location was excellent and I was able to take a walk and visit the shrine before breakfast. I think it was good overall. thank you very much.

The Higanbana in the garden was beautiful. In terms of location, it is about 30 minutes away from the Nara Park area. It's a very relaxing inn with delicious persimmon dressing and sashimi. Recently, I realized the charm of Nara and have been going to Yamatoji several times. When checking out, I was able to send my luggage via courier service (cash on delivery).

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Taishoro Ryokan. The location is ideal, just steps away from the JR Miwa Station, and a short walk to the famous Miwa Shrine and huge torii gate. Our host Uda-san speaks excellent English, and provided outstanding service; he was extremely helpful in giving us a wealth of useful information about the area's history, local sites to see and hiking in the area, and was able to accomodate our evening schedule. The rooms we stayed in, and the bathing area, were very comfortable and we enjoyed the traditional Japanese setting, especially the beautiful courtyard garden. We highly recommend that you stay at Taishoro Ryokan for a perfect experience of a traditional Japanese Inn!

First of all, it was painful that there were cockroaches from the beginning. The room smelled of mold and the blankets were tangled with hair that appeared to be from previous guests, making me feel uncomfortable about the lack of cleaning and maintenance. Also, you can hear voices from the next room.At a level where you can even hear snoring. The food wasn't delicious and the customer service was bad. This is the first time I've left so much of someone's food behind...There is also a curfew, and the building is completely dark at 9pm.I was directed to the city's free Wi-Fi, but it was almost impossible to connect, probably due to multiple connections. Really three stars...?A traditional fine Japanese house with a garden.I made a reservation because I thought it would be nice if the food was updated and the cleanliness was better, but I was disappointed because it was so different from the reviews.I learned that word of mouth is not everything. There are no repeats. I think it would be better to make improvements and focus on quality, even if it means raising the price.

A ball of tissue was found coming out of the sleeve of each jacket, and several strands of hair were attached to each coat. Haven't you washed it? It was very disgusting.I guess the ingredients are simple and stingy. I was disappointed because it wasn't worth the price. My companion also complained quite a bit. There was so much grime floating in the bath that I was worried whether the water was being changed. It was very disgusting.I understood why the other bathers made strange faces and left after a short time.Overall, I felt that they were saving money too much and cutting corners too much, and my friends and I booed loudly from beginning to end.I travel several times a year, and I have never stayed in such a bad accommodation.I felt it was on the same level as a cheap guesthouse, but the price was quite high and it didn't match the content at all.I hope it improves.

I already knew Ryokan Taishoro from previous stays, but this time I wanted to introduce my friends to the ryokan and its owner Masahiro-san. …

After the wedding, we used it as a family meal venue.Located at the foot of Omiwa Shrine, it has a dignified atmosphere that has been passed down from generation to generation, which made me feel relaxed.I am grateful that the careful yet gentle way the food was served created a relaxed atmosphere and allowed us to have a fun time together as a family. It was a special day in the lives of my husband and my family.thank you very much.

I stayed at Taishoro for two nights. The food is very carefully prepared. You can enjoy a one-of-a-kind feast made with seasonal vegetables. It's not a typical ryokan meal, but you can tell that the host is trying to make the most of the deliciousness of the ingredients. Breakfast gives you the energy to start your day properly. It was a great experience as they were very knowledgeable about tourist information and suggested ways to spend the limited time we had.
