I used it for meals. I had the pheasant kamameshi. It seems that the kamameshi is cooked one by one. There was also some delicious charred rice.My companion became unwell, but they were very kind to me by letting me rest and giving me ice.To go to Kasagi-dera Temple and Matsumoto-tei, we recommend going from Kasagi Golf Club via Yagyu-no-Sato instead of taking the R325 (Prefectural Highway Kasagi Park Line). I thought the road on R325 was narrow and there weren't many places to separate. You can also stay overnight here. The inn is limited to two groups or one group per day. There are two private baths, and each room can be used freely.Looking at the photos on the homepage, it looks like the inside of the building has been renovated. I also thought that the appeal of this place was that you could try rare pheasant dishes. It is said that from autumn to winter, you can sometimes see a sea of clouds at the nearby Kasagi Temple, which made me want to stay here someday and see the sparkling sea of clouds in the early morning.

My family of four, including two kindergarten children, visited here for two days and one night.I was nervous about trying pheasant hotpot for the first time, but it was really delicious, including the sashimi, and my husband, who was celebrating his birthday, was very happy! The room was very clean and the bath was reserved for the whole family, so the kids were able to use it as many times as they wanted and had a great time✨Surrounded by nature, I felt liberated from my busy daily life, and the gentle atmosphere of the hostess was also very relaxing.Thank you for the wonderful weekend☆I would love to visit you again♪

I had the pheasant stone grilled course at ``Matsumoto-tei'' on the top of the mountain in Kasagi😀Pheasant is said to be a favorite food of aristocrats! However, for ordinary students, it is delicious! ! I want to eat it again! There was no emotion...Pheasant has such a texture and taste! I will save it in my brain memory as new knowledge.I'm a super-commoner, so grilled rice balls and hot pot are delicious, and I thought, ``Wow!'' That's what happened (lol)I wonder if it's because there's pheasant soup in it?Anyway, this is my first experience! I don't have enough knowledge to decide...By the way, you will pass through very narrow roads on the way, so if you are not confident in driving... I think it would be better to take a taxi (lol)

While visiting the temple, I stopped by and had tea soba noodles and pheasant kamameshi. The tea soba served on a stylish plate was surprisingly delicious and I was very satisfied. The pheasant kamameshi was delicious and had the flavor I expected, but I think it would have been more satisfying if it had been grilled. The miso soup that came with the kamameshi was also satisfying with its elegant and high-class taste. I would like to try another course meal when I stop by again someday.I recommend this place 👍

I've stayed here before.I was drawn to the pheasant cuisine and made a reservation! When I actually went there, it was quite far from Kyoto Station. However, it was comfortable because they picked me up from the nearest station! It was also fun to climb the mountain path. When we arrived at the inn, we were greeted by a kind hostess. The room was very clean and the futon was great! The pheasant dish, which I was looking forward to, was excellent and my companions were also happy. The bath was reserved for private use, and the hot water in the bath was excellent. Is it ground water? I was impressed by how soft the hot water was!I want to stay there again! Recommended! ! !

At Kasagi-dera Temple, I worshiped Maitreya Bodhisattva and Kokuzo Bodhisattva, and since I hadn't had lunch, I stopped by on a whim. I thought about having the pheasant kamameshi, but I found that they had a pheasant grilled set meal (it came with a kamameshi), so I decided to go for it. The interior of the store has a relaxing atmosphere, and is decorated with my favorite owl figurines and photos, making me feel at home. Meanwhile, in front of the food served by the courteous hostess, I asked my partner to drive the car and ordered an additional bottle of beer without hesitation. The pheasant grill is seasoned with salt, but you can add yuzu pepper or matcha salt if you like. I'm sure it's delicious. The kamameshi was freshly cooked and every grain of rice was delicious. I heard that you can stay overnight, so I would like to come again. Thank you for the meal. It was raining by the time I returned home, but it had stopped when I was visiting. It was a nice trip.
