Thank you for your help from August 15th to 21st.They were very helpful in accommodating last-minute reservations during the Obon period. When I told him that I was walking from the Nagaragawa International Conference Center to the hotel, he kindly showed me the route to the inn. When I arrived at the hotel, my face was drenched in sweat, so I was immediately given a paper towel. At the time of check-in, please visit a nearby restaurant orHe told me about restaurants inside the city hall, Lawson inside the library, Starbucks, etc.The owner was always friendly and took care of me during my stay. There are two bicycles available for rent, first come, first served.During my stay there was always one car vacant. It was very convenient to go everywhere. You can also go to Gifu Castle by bicycle.

Guidance on how to use the guest house? I was asked if I wanted an explanation, and when I replied that it was not my first time to stay at this type of accommodation, but that each facility might have its own rules, I asked if I could explain it to them, and they looked at me with obvious annoyance. Since the staff are not available 24 hours a day, I think it is necessary to explain the rules to avoid trouble. The facility is a reused old Japanese house, so the walls and floors are thin and it's very lively.

It's OK.  But if you can, don't stay more than one night.Be aware that, regardless of the fact that the owner is nice, the facilities are clean, there are free bicycles and a washing machine, the place is super small, cramped and noisy. The walls of the house are made of ultra-thin wood, there is no insulation. It is close to a busy intersection and the ceiling/floor is also made of ultra-thin wood, meaning you can hear people talking and walking very loudly on the upper floor. I only could sleep when everyone was quiet. The beds are not that stable. If you are walking, it is a little far from the main restaurant zone.Note: people who travel and stay in Hostels or other shared accommodation need to learn to coexist and respect the common space. Please make less noise, don't slam doors, respect quiet hours and, above all, if you know you will wake up earlier than others, leave your luggage organized the night before.

This is an old folk house guest house that has been renovated by the owner's DIY. It's comfortable. Please bring your own amenities. Towel rental is 100 yen.

This is a valuable guest house in Gifu. The old house has been renovated and the inside is very clean. The owner seems to like traveling with his Honda Super Cub, so it might be a good idea to talk to him when you stay there 🙇‍♀️It's a bit of a walk from Gifu Station, but there's a shopping street so I never got bored. Also, Gifu Castle is close so you can walk there🏃‍♀️For dinner, I recommend a miso cutlet restaurant called Ichiraku! The store will close when the cutlets are gone. There are showers at the inn, but the public bath called Nohara-yu is also good. For alcohol, it's a bit of a walk to find a liquor store, but I recommend Fujii Liquor Store. You can take it back to your hotel for an evening drink.I think it's good to wake up in the morning.(I borrowed a bicycle and went to Cafe Usuzumi.)
