A place that even tourists can go if they can drive. If you like secluded bathing and gourmet food, be sure to go. I broke up with my boyfriend, but I plan to come back to stay for a long time with my family. Horse oil placed in the women's bath? I'm curious about whether it was horse oil or information about whitening cream. No matter how much I search, it doesn't come up...

I stayed here for my mother's birthday. The food was of an impressive level and the service was excellent. I'm glad I celebrated my birthday at this inn.

I visited for the first time in several years.Of course, the highlight is the famous squid.Fresh squid is surprisingly sweet and delicious.Other luxurious seafood is also fresh and delicious. Also, the rice in Saga Prefecture is delicious.Dinner was served in a room with a nice view. The open-air bath with a view on the 5th floor is not a hot spring, but it is a pleasant bath with a nice breeze.

Beautiful places lift your mood and elevate the senses. And Hotel Taibo-kaku absolutely took my, and my friend’s, breadth away! The hotel looks newly-renovated, and it is modern, spacious and clean. We also had a room with a lovely therapeutic view of the bay. We totally fell in love with the place from the moment we stepped in.We visited in early April 2024 for the cherry blossom season and stayed 2 nights. The hotel was quiet and we hardly ever saw any other guests, not to mention foreign tourists.Every group has their own room in which we had our breakfast and dinner. The meals were so scrumptious and abundant, we were always completely stuffed half way through! Both nights, we had the live squid sashimi, a local specialty. There was an outdoor and indoor onsen and it was vacant the first night we arrived.Service is warm and attentive. When we returned to the hotel on the second evening, parking lots were full. A staff came out so promptly and guided us to park at a special corner not usually meant for parking. The small souvenir shop in the hotel is reasonably priced, so you can stock up on your gifts here. We had compared prices of some items at another shop in the nearby town and that turned out to be slightly more expensive than the hotel’s. The ika (squid) crackers are nice. Will definitely want to stay here again if I revisit Saga.
