Campsites are free if you apply in advance. You can't use carry because it's all about mountains and hills. Free rental of tools and paid sale of firewood (charcoal not available). There is a "Road Closed" sign near the Sarakurayama Cable Car parking lot, but campground users can pass through.

Reservations are required at least one week in advance. The campsite is a solid board with a concrete foundation. Open fire OK. The toilet flushes and is fairly clean. It's so complete that you wouldn't expect it to be a facility that can be used for free. You can rent out tableware, cooking utensils, tents, and bedding for free, so it's a great place for beginners who don't have the necessary equipment.
