It feels like a guesthouse, but it's clean and clean. I thought there was no refrigerator in the room, but there was one. The problem is that there are few shared toilets and washrooms. The bathroom also feels a little small. The food was very delicious. The salt-grilled yamame trout and the sweetness of the Yamagata beef oil for dinner were the best. The steamed Akebi mushrooms and minced meat were also unusual and delicious. When I checked out, I was able to buy a discount voucher for the Gassan lift, which was a great deal!I think the husband, wife, and son were all very nice people❗️

I used it in a single room. The location is convenient, just 10 minutes by car from Gassan Ski Resort and the trailhead. It's a large pond-side inn rather than a lakeside hotel, which is why it's so well-known.It was a guesthouse rather than an inn, and the meals were simple wild vegetable dishes. The small pot called Yamagata Beef had two thin slices of beef, which was disappointing, but the tempura with various wild vegetables was delicious. The bath was a hot spring, but it felt like regular hot water.I was worried at first when I was asked to pay in cash even though I could have paid with a credit card. The room cost is 14,000 yen, and unfortunately the quality of the room, food, and hot springs are not good. However, the rooms, hallways, and toilets were very carefully cleaned and I felt comfortable.

An inn located on the banks of Goshikinuma in Gassan Shizu Onsen. The bath with a view overlooking Goshikinuma wasn't very large, but it was nice to be able to soak in it slowly. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and satisfying. The soba noodles and grilled fish were delicious. As for the alcohol, there was a local sake that went well with the food.
