I used it on the first night of my trip from Tokyo to Tohoku. It was a great decision.I made a reservation with the idea that I would be able to eat imoni for breakfast at a hotel with a hot spring, but in the evening I was able to enjoy all-you-can-drink Iichiko and Shinro highballs at the breakfast venue, so it turned into an after-party where I could buy snacks at a convenience store. TaI've never experienced such a great value hotel before and I'm very satisfied. The parking lot was flat, so there was plenty of space, and the hot springs were slippery, which was my favorite type.

This hotel is within walking distance from Yamagata Station and has a large public bath and breakfast service. The public bath is a little small, but it feels much better than taking a shower in your room!Breakfast was buffet style, and on the day I stayed, I had Yamagata Imoni!Although the rooms are a little dated, I was satisfied with my stay 😌

A stable super hotelThe location is not great as it is a short walk from the station and on the opposite side of the downtown area. There is no complaints since there is free breakfast and natural hot springs.

It's convenient as it's near the station. Separate hot springs for men and women? It's nice to have a bath. The variety of side dishes for breakfast is a bit bland compared to others, but the imoni makes up for it. The alcoholic welcome drink is nice.

The woman at the front desk was good, but the man's response was a little off.The room had no indirect lighting, which was inconvenient, and although there was a men's bath, most of the lockers were locked and could not be used. As soon as you open the bathroom door, there is a sink, and if someone was there, hot water would come out in the changing room.

R6.2When I stayed last year, the breakfast buffet was socially distanced due to the coronavirus pandemic, but this time there was no such support. This hotel has good value for money. This time, I was left to the room, but it was around 4,000 yen, including breakfast buffet. There were 5 washing areas in the large public bath, and the hot spring was reddish-brown in color. Last time there were cypress goods, but not this time.Pillows will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, but you can also bring your own pillow if you like. Welcome drinks include soft drinks and alcohol until 9pm. It was my first time drinking sake from Yamagata Prefecture (1 sho costs around 3,000 yen), and it was so delicious that I bought it at a liquor store on the way home. The breakfast buffet seems to be either egg konnyaku or sweet potato soup depending on the day of the week, and last time I had potato soup, but unfortunately this time it was egg konnyaku. I thought it was a great thing that there were local specialties included in the free breakfast.

The downside is that it's a bit of a walk from the station and there are no restaurants nearby. There's a 7-Eleven though. The service is super hotel quality and satisfying. However, I was shocked to find that the welcome drink orange juice was 80%.I felt like it reflected the state of society. 🥺
