A long-established inn located in the center of Onogawa Onsen, across from Amayu. It is an inn architecture that gives you a sense of history and tradition. I used it for a day trip bath. Bathing fee is 300 yen. …

The exterior and interior of the hotel have an old-fashioned feel, but the guest rooms have been renovated and are spacious and clean. Both the large public bath and the private bath have natural hot spring water, so you can enjoy a comfortable bath anytime. The meal was Yonezawa beef sukiyaki. Many of the local dishes, including candied carp and carp, were all delicious. It was an inn with a nostalgic feel, as the in-house telephone had a rotary dial system and the front desk was the cashier. I visit Onogawa Onsen often and would like to use your service again.

A must-stay place. Even though it is a historic building, I was surprised at how clean every corner was. I took a bath in the open-air bath ♨️ attached to my room many times. You can spend a quiet time here, and there is even top-quality sukiyaki, and you will be especially satisfied with the heartfelt food served in three-tiered bowls. I was full and gave up half of the imoni. sorry

This inn is so wonderful that you actually want to keep it a secret. Thank you for taking care of us with a plan that included breakfast for one night during the Obon holidays. Onogawa Onsen is also quaint, but Ogiya Ryokan is a lovely retro inn that will make you feel like you have traveled back in time to good old Japan. The old building was so beautifully maintained and renovated that I almost regret leaving it behind. The room has a bathroom, and the washroom has been renovated and is clean. The bedrock bath, which can be used 24 hours a day, warms up slowly (it can be reserved for two people) and was a wonderful space. Although the room did not have a toilet, the shared toilet had just been renovated, and I was able to spend a comfortable time in a very clean private room. The inn's idea of playing a drum when greeting guests at the front desk (they were kind enough to respond before the drum was played), the black phone informing them about breakfast, and the inside of the inn felt like a museum, making it very cozy. It was good. We arrived after 6pm, but the futons were already set out and the futons were fluffy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and I would like to ask for a plan that includes dinner next time. The landlady and her husband are both attentive and wonderful people. There is no other ryokan that is as wonderful as this one, so I would really like to make it our own hidden inn and keep it a secret, but I want Ogiya Ryokan to continue on, so I hope my comments will be helpful.

Ogiya Ryokan, located in Onogawa Onsen, is an inn with a 400-year history. For dinner, you can enjoy local Yamagata/Yonezawa dishes such as melt-in-your-mouth Yonezawa beef sukiyaki, carp carp/kanroni, imoni, and konnyaku. The hot water is smooth and has a very good spring quality, with the scent of yunohana and light sulfur. A noteworthy feature is that several guest rooms have open-air baths with free-flowing water, so you can enjoy bathing as many times as you like without hesitation (you can adjust the amount of water if the water is hot). The hostess's hospitality was very polite and I would like to visit again! This is an inn that makes you think.

I made a reservation through Rakuten Travel. There was an open-air bath in the room, and I was able to take a bath whenever I wanted. There was a lot of hot spring water, and I felt that the hot spring was strong. There are no showers, so I first cleaned myself in the public bath before entering. Both dinner and breakfast were in private rooms. The room is separated from the neighbors by sliding doors, so you can hear people talking. The main menu for dinner was Yonezawa beef sukiyaki and carp dishes. I think people either like or dislike Koi. (I love it so it was delicious.)There is no toilet in the room, there is a shared toilet in the hallway. There is a free bedrock bath that you can use any time if it is empty. The floor is quite hot, so a bath towel is a must. The guest rooms are on the second floor, and the stairs from the entrance to the second floor are quite steep.

I have visited Yonezawa many times, but Onogawa Onsen was an unexplored area. Although it was small, it formed a hot spring town and had an outstanding atmosphere. …

A long-established inn located in Onogawa Onsen town, just a short taxi ride from Yonezawa Station. The elegant building, the spacious and beautiful rooms with hot springs, the delicious dinner and breakfast, the wonderful hospitality, and the delicious miso that I bought as a souvenir from the proprietress...For those staying overnight, we recommend that breakfast and dinner are included. All the dishes were excellent. All I can say is the best. This is a wonderful hot spring inn that is guaranteed to be a repeat stay.I hope that it will continue for a long time to come.

A very quaint system where a drum is played at the entrance to call the inn staff.I visited you on a day trip to take a bath. The building also has a sense of history, and the various items decorated with historical items...But whose picture is it? Is it a book? The only thing I understood was Yukio Togawa's book. The changing room is large, but there are only two washing areas. The hot water had a little bit of yuba floating in it, and it had a warming quality.Bathing fee ¥300Soap and conditioner shampoo are provided. It was a nice bath ♨️
