Goya-so, located in Okinawa City, is an attractive guesthouse that has been renovated from an old folk house with a traditional tiled roof.At night at Yuntaku, you can enjoy master Hide's humorous storytelling, and the Okinawan shamisen performance will touch your heart. There is a sanshin instrument in the room for you to try out, so guests can experience Okinawan music as well.In addition, there are programs such as an Okinawan shamisen experience and an Okinawan cooking experience led by a master.More than just staying overnight, you can deeply experience Okinawa's rich culture and life. This is the perfect place for those who want to know the true charm of Okinawa and experience the local life!

My wife, 8-year-old eldest son, and 5-year-old second son stayed here for one night on July 22nd. On a 3-night, 4-day trip to Okinawa, I stayed at a hotel on the west coast for the first two nights, and at Goya-so for the last night. At the end of the trip, my wife's plan was to choose an accommodation other than a hotel, and both my children and I were very satisfied. The master, Mr. Hide, played the sanshin and chatted with us, providing gentle hospitality. Not only adults but also children seemed to like the cozy atmosphere of the old folk house. .Also, during this stay, I stayed at the same time as a family from Wakayama Prefecture, and we had a lot of fun sharing the progress of our Okinawa trip with each other. You can eat out or buy meals, and this time at our house, Hide made Okinawa soba, bitter gourd champuru, Okinawa yakisoba, and taco rice. The children seemed to enjoy harvesting the bitter gourd grown in the hedge at the right time. It's an inn that can be enjoyed by both families and adults traveling alone, and if I had known about it when I was a student, I think I would have stayed there even if I was traveling alone!Thank you for creating great summer memories for my family!

The location was very good as it was close to Naha Airport. The guest room was reserved and was very spacious with books and sanshin. There was also ice cream and chocolate in the fridge. The master, Hide, was very kind and had a great personality. The service was great and I was able to learn the sanshin. During dinner, Hide-san performed a sanshin live performance. He was very good at singing and playing the sanshin. At breakfast, there was a service where you could eat one bottle for free. Hide-san made all the food on the spot, so it was fresh and delicious. If I have a chance to go to Okinawa again, I would like to stay at Goyaso again.

The owner is extremely hospitable. When I visited in the rain, they lent me a shoe dryer, which was very helpful. There was a bar and parlor, and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

Everything was great. He also taught me how to play the sanshin, and we had a wonderful night listening to Hide-san play the sanshin while eating.

It was great hospitality. The breakfast popo made by Mr. Hide, free parking, and a wide range of amenities...it's more than worth the price. Just one thing, the women's room? The door was difficult to close completely (maybe I just didn't have the strength to do so), and I was a little worried as it was difficult to lock the door. There was a day when there was only one male guest with me, and the master didn't seem to be at the guest house at night, so even though I knew everything was fine, I thought it would be more secure if the door could be locked smoothly. There are also people who drink alcohol. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!
