This is located in Takamori Town, Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture! It's in a great location where you can see Mt. Neko, one of the five Aso mountains. This is also known as Minamiaso's ``Hottarakashi Campsite''. (It is announced as such on the website)This was our first visit here, and we enjoyed camping in a camper in the fall.I usually do camping in my car, but this time I enjoyed camping in a tent for the first time in a while.First of all, we set up the camp in the car as usual, and later set up the camp in the tent.As for the atmosphere of the campsite, it is said that it is a ``neglected campsite'', and the ``manager'' is absent all day.It is divided into a ``forest site'' with a grove of ``broad-leaved trees'' and an ``open space site'' with a grove of ``coniferous trees.''We recommend the ``Rinkan Site'' where you can see the ``Aso Five Mountains'' and ``Nekodake.''As a facility, it will be the minimum necessary equipment! There is only a toilet and simple "water facilities".The restrooms are divided into ``unisex'', ``women only'', and ``men only''. (Check out the video on our YouTube channel.)Access to this place may be difficult to find as it is located a little further back from the national highway. There are some narrow sections of the road in front of the campsite, so be careful if you have a large camper! Also, please be aware that the entrance to the campsite is often overlooked. (Please check the video for access.)It seems like a little-known campsite, but there are very quiet fields surrounding it, and it's called ``Aso Gogaku'' and ``Nekodake''! Coupled with the lush green forest, you can enjoy camping in a very quiet atmosphere. If you have a chance, please come! Why not visit this "NEKOX campsite" and enjoy camping? In addition, we have posted a video on our YouTube channel that shows how we enjoyed "tent camping" at this campsite, so please take a look.I would be very happy if you were interested and found it useful! Thank you for your understanding.YouTube channel name: Bokkun Couple Strolling Journey“First use from September 27th to 29th, 2024”

It's a neglected business, but everyone who has reservations for the same day is very well behaved and has a pleasant time. The location is great and you don't have to worry about the summer heat.

I used it twice in September. The first time was 🌉 the wind was so strong that it hit the tent so I couldn't sleep much. The second time, there was no wind and we were able to camp comfortably 🏕️It's basically abandoned, so it's a good place for people who want to camp quietly. There is a temporary kitchen and toilet faucet (Western style), so I don't think there will be any problems. There is also a hot spring nearby.

We used it at a joint touch rugby training camp. The wide grass field had good cushioning and I was able to move my body to my heart's content. Although the accommodation is old, it was clean and comfortable. …
