Pondok Hexa

We stayed in type 3 rooms with a living room that was large enough for family gatherings. Cleanliness is okay, there are indeed unpleasant smells from the pillows/sheets/blankets so we suggest you just bring your own pillows/sheets/blankets to make it more comfortable.The bathroom water flows quite fast, the hot water is okay, the bathroom is clean. The AC was cold but in one of the rooms the AC was broken (there was no remote so it was on 24 hours with cold temperature & maximum blower) maybe you could ask the receptionist for the remote but it wasn't a big deal for us. One of the mattresses also needed to be replaced because the foam was thin so the springs felt & made my body ache.The swimming pool water was cloudy, we didn't try swimming. Next to the swimming pool there is a cage for peacocks & other birds, suitable for educating children.Location: in our opinion, Hexa cottage is the most strategic because the front road is less damaged than other accommodation. If you want to enjoy the sunset, just cross to Cafe Moana. To get to Hexa cottage, it's better to go straight to Ujung Genteng beach (Gmaps directs you to turn onto Jl. Cipaku 4 or Jl. Cipaku 5 where the front road is damaged) It's better to go straight through Ujung Genteng beach, the road is damaged but it's more comfortable.It's not too far to go to the turtle hatchery, fish market, or other beaches.Opposite the Hexa hut there is the modern Moana cafe & there is direct access to the beach, but be careful because there are lots of coral & broken pieces, our advice is to still wear footwear. The effect of having a modern cafe opposite: the street in front of Hexa cottage is full of car & motorbike parking, and noisy at night. But fortunately our room was far in the corner so it wasn't disturbed.In the morning there is a chicken porridge seller around inside the Hexa hut, it's quite delicious. There are also women who sell yellow rice but unfortunately it doesn't taste good. You can also eat at the restaurant, or eat Chicago chicken which tastes ordinary but is not bad for children. Cafe Moana has delicious coffee.The downside is that when there is a small accident that requires medical treatment, the receptionist is not very informative when we ask about the emergency room or medical center around/closest, even though there is a fairly large Buniwangi health center (even then we only found out after that night when we went to Jampangkulon Regional Hospital which is 36km from Pondok Hexa and asked to the nurse there, the nearest health center from the end of the roof tile).Apart from that, there is no water dispenser at the Hexa hut, but gallons are provided (there is a manual pump but everyone is using it at that time?)Hexa cottage WiFi signal is bad, it's better to use your own mobile data even though the signal is intermittent too.Overall we enjoyed staying at Hexa cottage, great value, good location, lots of rooms and spacious.

It's nice to stay here when you come to the roof tiles.A comfortable place.Just fix the toilet please

The 6 of us stayed 1 day, the rooms were clean, the manager was also friendly (pa Dery)... the location is in front of the beach.... there is a restaurant too, the food is delicious (our taste buds match the cooking) the prices are affordable.... thank you hexa cottage 🙏
