Little Hygge, which I used when I visited Oita Prefecture on a family trip in 2022Booked on AirbnbThere is not just one accommodation room, so you will share the kitchen and common living room with other guests.The accommodation room is very spacious and comfortable with beds.You can use the private bathroom (please note that the bathroom window is made of transparent glass, so you can see it from the common garden).The bathtub is large enough for the whole family.The shared kitchen has a set of kitchen tools, so you can do some light cooking.There was a bench table in the garden where we ground beans and had coffee in the morning.The surrounding area was very quiet and I felt like time passed slowly, which was very comfortable.

The location is in the mountains so I can’t expect convenience.Fully self-service check-inThe room is very clean, comfortable and well-equippedThe kitchen and living room are great and have a great atmosphereBecause we are in the mountains, there are a lot of insects and they are almost impossible to stop (ants, spiders, small flying insects)People who are not afraid of bugs will find it quite good.

The house is very comfortable and warm. The hot spring bath, kitchen and large living room are very complete. Coffee and snacks are also provided. The landlord is very nice and helps solve all problems. Thank you for staying in such a good B&B. I love it! I will definitely come again if I have the chance!

I had made a reservation for August 12th and 13th, but on that day it was difficult to travel due to heavy rain and flood warnings, landslides, and river flooding in various parts of Kyushu. I tried to cancel on the day by phone, but I couldn't get through, so I canceled online. However, I was charged a cancellation fee. I thought it would have been nice if they had sent me an email explaining how to deal with it.

There are multiple rooms, of which I used a room for solo travelers.We have everything you need for your stay.However, I wish there was a refrigerator in each room, even if it was small.Recommended for those who enjoy Aso and Kokonoe.

Little Hygge is such a beauty. Rica-san was wonderful, recommending us where to go. Note that there's nothing much around at night and it's a 10 mins drive to Kurokawa Onsen.
