Excellent location!It is about a 1 minute walk from Izumo Taisha-mae Station on the Ichibata train, and about 5 minutes from Izumo Taisha Shrine.The location is easy to find, right next to the Yanagimachi railroad crossing.This is a slightly old inn run by a kind old lady.I think you can think of it as a complete stay without meals and that the accommodation fee is about the same as a capsule hotel in the city.Reservations can only be made by phone. Reservations cannot be made online through travel sites.The room (Hagi no Ma) is 8 tatami mats + 3 tatami mats with a toilet and bathroom. (However, the hot water in the bathroom was poor so I was asked to use the shared bathroom.) I was satisfied with the fact that it was fully equipped with a TV, air conditioner, and refrigerator.How clean is it? If you ask me, it's hard to say that it's really good in my personal opinion, but it feels like my parents' home in the countryside. Grandma is running this on her own, so I think she needs to be tolerant enough to laugh and forgive.If I have a chance to come to Izumo Taisha again, I would definitely like to stay there again.⚠There seems to be a parking lot (confirmation required)Curfew is until 10pm.Amenities such as yukata, bath towel, and toothbrush are provided.There is a hair dryer in the shared bathroom.No Wi-Fi.There is a 7-Eleven and Lawson about 3 minutes walk away.(Almost no restaurants around Izumo Taisha Station or Shinmon Dori are open until late at night.)

The location is perfect for visiting Izumo Taisha. Very close to Izumo Taisha station. The sound of the train may be a little bothersome, but it didn't bother me.The inn is an old-fashioned building, but the room I stayed in was spacious and fully equipped with a refrigerator, sink, yukata, towels, toothbrush, and other amenities.Also, the landlady is running the business by herself. They kindly responded to various inquiries.I only stayed here without meals, but the location is great, so I hope more people will use it.

The facilities are old but clean. The hostess, who was very nice, seemed to be working on her own and took care of me. I stayed there on the day of the divine pick-up, but it seemed like reservations were only made by phone, so there were empty rooms.

A quiet inn located on the site of the Yanagimachi red-light district that used to be located next to the approach to Izumo Taisha Shrine. Remnants of this can be seen in the name of the nearby railroad crossing, Yanagimachi.Although the facilities are not new, we recommend this inn as it is close to Izumo Taisha Station and is a very inexpensive place to stay due to its historical location.
