I suddenly wanted to go to Izumo Taisha and made a reservation a week in advance! I was lucky to be able to make a reservation as most of the hotels in this area were fully booked as it was a 3-day weekend in September! The room had been renovated and was very clean! It might feel compact for two people, but since I was only using it for one person, it was just what I needed.(Depending on the room, the area under the loft may be a sofa bed or a bed. I thought it was about 50/50.)Both dinner and breakfast are full of volume.(If I eat breakfast, I won't be hungry by lunchtime, but I'll get hungry in the evening, so I thought about where I wanted to go for lunch, but in the end I didn't go anywhere lol)There were also a lot of manga, so I was able to read them all at once after dinner, so I felt like I had gained a bit of something (^^)As for the bath, there was a unit bath in the room, but I was given a bathing ticket to two sister inns (Kamedake Onsen Tamamine Sanso and Hinokami Onsen Hinokamiso), soFor both days, I went to the hot springs at Kamedake Onsen Tamamine Sanso, which is about a 10-minute drive away. It's clean and spacious, and the men's and women's baths seem to change every day, so I'm glad I had both! It's in Okuizumo, so it takes about an hour to get to Izumo Taisha Shrine, but I thought it was a good value accommodation where you can relax in nature and cost 20,900 yen for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) with 2 meals.

The room had been renovated, so it was very clean and nice, but the sink was a ribbed type with poor drainage, which was disappointing.Since the location is in the countryside, there is no supermarket unless you drive for about 10 minutes. There is one convenience store within walking distance, but it is out of stock. There is a unit bath in the room, but since I was able to get a ticket to Tamamine Onsen, I took a bath there. At breakfast, other guests complained that the main grilled fish didn't come out and they were eating it with tsukudani etc. and forgot to bring it out. Has that ever happened? The ending was very disappointing since everything else was good.

The cost performance is the best.At the end of July 2024 at Oroja LoopI wanted to eat Izumo soba so I came to Okuizumo and stayed there. All the staff were smiling and very nice. The food is also quite delicious. Japanese-style rooms do not have baths. However, I received a bath ticket to a hot spring facility in town and was very satisfied with the luxurious hot spring bath.I'll come back laterThe luxurious lobby is a hot spring facility in the town.In Okuizumo, there is a place where you can stay at the museum.dinner. Cycling center cafeteria. Also, the breakfast was very delicious. I failed to take a photo.

I went there after 6pm on August 2, 2024. The reserved seats on the right side were full, and there were people lined up from the entrance who I couldn't tell who were staff members. The left side was empty, so I waited for about 5 minutes, but no one came to help me. So I went back. If you can't handle it, there's no point in opening the store. I would like them to write at the entrance that they can only accept reservations. Well, I won't go there again.

I checked in after going to a day trip hot spring in town. Convenient and easily located. The staff are kind and very nice. Even if other inns are fully booked, this is a little-known spot, so you can easily make a reservation. The rice is delicious and I recommend it.
