The miso soup from the rice in the bowl was also delicious. It was a very good price for one night and two meals included, and I ended up drinking too much local sake for dinner for 400 yen. I'm very satisfied

For private useI decided on the location right next to Hoki Oyama Station. The inn is full of the Showa era, but it's simple and I had a good experience for the first time in a while.I booked the cheapest plan, so it's 4.5 tatami for 1 room. The equipment in the room isTV, hair dryer, kettle, mosquito repellent, tissues, mini table, hypochlorous acid water, Free Wi-Fi, hanger, room drying rodThe toilet is shared, but it is clean. The futon is very thin and light, but if you feel like staying overnight without meals, it's not a problem. If you are interested, please go to another accommodation facility. There is only one bath, so if you are a woman using it, I think you will need to make a reservation for private use in advance.A refrigerator and microwave are located on the first floor and can be used by all guests. The vending machine was located outside the hall and had an ashtray.Smoking is prohibited inside the building, including guest rooms, dining room, and lobby. There is no convenience store nearbyThere was an ice cream vending machine inside Hoki Oyama Station.Payment is basically in cash, but there was information on card and paypay at the front desk, so I think it's a good idea to check in advance when making a reservation. The breakfast was delicious, especially the fish (on this day it was flounder).A simple combination that will fill you upI think it depends on the timing of your reservation, but I think the cost performance is too good.Lastly, I thought that the personality of the owner and his wife is what supports this inn.It was also an inn that I wanted to stay at and see.PS: Visited in early September 2023I also stayed there. This time it includes evening and morning. In conclusion, the food is tastier than at a poor restaurant. Is it the favor of the landlady and the husband? They started frying the tempura after we started eating. The soup was piping hot as well.P.S.: Visited in April 2024This time, I stayed in a 6 tatami room with evening and breakfast included. The hostess and husband, who I haven't seen in a long time, are there to greet you, and the homely atmosphere that you don't find in hotels these days remains the same. The dinner menu was so voluminous that I couldn't finish it all. I was especially surprised when I was offered crab meat as a substitute for a snack if you'd like, and it was delicious. The refrigerator was moved from the first floor to the second floor, which was convenient.

I'm coming to Yonago. I looked for a place to stay in Yonago City, but it seemed like there was an academic conference or something going on, so the prices were pretty high even though there were very few spaces available.Since I didn't need to stay in the city, I found this ryokan a little far away and made a reservation.Very close to Hoki Oyama Station. There are no convenience stores around, but there is a supermarket about 10 minutes walk away.Dishes include Daisen chicken and stewed green throat fish, which are expensive ingredients in Tokyo, but may be easily available locally. It felt like home-cooked food and it was very good. The inn is a bit run down, but I think the food was very good.

Well, it's more of a guesthouse than an ordinary inn, and unless the service is better, we won't be able to attract more customers.

This is a guesthouse with a sense of history. There is no toilet in the room and the bath is unisex, but it is cheap anyway. I felt that the cleanliness was kept relatively clean. However, that doesn't mean it's extremely beautiful. If you look at the photos and like this kind of atmosphere, this is recommended. The rice was plentiful and very delicious. There is also a cooler in the room, so I felt it was a good place to stay before climbing. However, please be aware that there is no convenience store nearby, so you will have to walk quite a bit to buy things.

There are about 10 parking spaces in front of the building in front of Hoki Oyama Station. I stayed there the day before climbing Mt. Daisen. It's a convenient location as it takes about 30 minutes by car from here to the trailhead. In the opposite direction of the station (you can't go straight, you have to take a detour), there is a Marugou supermarket about 10 minutes walk away, and you can do some small shopping here.Although the washroom and bath are shared, the room is well-cleaned and the futons are clean, so there are no particular inconveniences. Wi-Fi is also available, so you can stay at a reasonable price.I think it's an easy place to use even for business purposes.
