I stayed for 16 nights here and found it to be a quiet, scenic, clean and decent place. The view is extraordinary and never stops surprising you. The have a well-maintained garden too. The place is conveniently located near restaurants (secret tip: Warung Genitri) frequented by Europeans. The host of this home stay is very cool. You get a simple breakfast with bread and fruits. They have laundry service and bike rental too. It's better than some of the pricier hotel options.

The rooms are clean and there is hot water. Free breakfast of bread/fried banana & fruit. The owner is friendly and kind. Oh yes, don't forget to bring cash because this hostel only accepts cash payments.Direct views of the hills and sunrise in the morning. The location is to enter the alley, only motorbikes can enter. If you bring a car, you should ask the owner where to park.

Not a good experience for us. The room was bad. The bed was very old and not confortable. A lot of spider web around and smell humidity. Same for the bathroom that was very dirty and smell humidity. The toilet was even worth and smell urine. The breakfast was two toasted bread with industrial jam and some fruits. The host were nice and we could get a taxi from them to visit around.

The room is good and has a view of the mountains from the balcony. It's very clean and the buildings are new. The gentleman is very friendly. It is generally quiet because it is set back from the road, but the neighbors' roosters are annoying. You can rent a scooter on site at a good price. The wifi works well.

We stayed 8 nights in a homestay room. The homestay is located in the central Munduk area, 100m from the market and surrounded by many highly rated warungs. Our room on the upper floor had a very airy and cool balcony. The view from the balcony was very chill. My husband and I love sitting on the balcony in the morning and afternoon, looking at durian trees, coconut trees, and mangosteen trees. The bedroom is very simple and basic with a bed and nightstand. No TV, no refrigerator. Toilet is a bit old, not really clean. But those things are acceptable because the room rent is quite cheap. Breakfast is included in the rental price but is very simple with toast and jams, butter, Coffee or Tea.Mr. The host Made is a gentle and kind person. He met all my requests such as boiling water, dishes, laundry, borrowing a fan... He helped me rent a Scoopy motorbike at a very good price and very new. We really enjoyed the climbing and descending experiences on mountain passes on this vehicle. Because we stayed for a long time and started getting bored with the same breakfast every day, Mr. Made was willing to change the Balinese breakfast for us. It is fried banana with charcoal sticky rice sprinkled with coconut rice and Thot Not sugar.I slept very well every night I stayed here.I really appreciate Mr. Made's family. They were wonderful and I have come to see this house as my own.

Room was OK. Unfortunately, the bathroom smells bad and is moldy. Breakfast leaves much to be desired. Location is OK, but there is no access to Uber apps, so you have to accept overpriced taxis. The owner of the accommodation was nice, but kept trying to convince us that his friend could take us on his dolphin boat tour. We agreed on 2-3 hours for 600K (initially he said 700k), when we were there the boat driver was very moody and gave us an oppressive feeling the whole time by constantly asking if we wanted to go back. In total we weren't even there for 1.5 hours and wasted 600k.When the owner, our driver, was asked that they were friends and that he had asked for 600K to lower the price because we were there for less than 2 whole hours, he said it wasn't possible. Rumor has it that he had already planned it that way so that he wouldn't waste any time.I don't understand why you would want to rip other people off if you believe in karma above all else...???We complained to him several times afterwards, but he didn't seem to care.Well, that's just how it is when all you have in mind is money! Conclusion: There are many other homestays there. Save yourself the stress and just don't come here.
