I stayed here with my family before the typhoon. We had a hearty homemade breakfast every day and felt at home in a homely atmosphere. Being able to use the washing machine was very helpful for families with small children. It seemed like he had left his minicar in his room, so he sent it by courier the next day, along with homemade cookies and a letter.I was shocked to hear that a few days after visiting Yayoi Cedar, it was destroyed by a typhoon. I hope all the kind people of Yakushima are doing well.

It was a very reasonable accommodation. The dinner was delicious. It was a clear day, so the stars at night were beautiful. There are no amenities, so you must bring your own (excluding shampoo and body soap).I was grateful to be able to do laundry for free.thank you very much. The nearest bus stop is Haruta. The nearest bus stop (Makino) bound for Kigensugi is a 7-minute walk away. While you're waiting, you can eat tankan soft drinks at shiiba across the street.

I often hear the word "homey", but it really made me feel at home, and I'm really grateful for the two days they took care of me. I'm glad I stayed at this guesthouse.I came to stay the night by myself, and my heart was saved.Even so, the food is so delicious😋The starry sky, which cannot be seen in the city, was also amazing. If I ever go to Yakushima again, I will definitely stay here!! ️

I stayed for three consecutive nights and it was a very relaxing place. It feels like I've come to my grandpa's house.◆The food is the best. There is a large selection of dishes, and the dishes are hearty. The menu was completely different every day, with items from Yakushima included each time. They give me a small bowl of rice so I'm full every day. Even while climbing, I was excited and said, ``I'm looking forward to dinner tonight.'' There weren't many guests because it was the off-season, but it looks like you'll have a great time having a great meal with a variety of other travelers.Alcoholic drinks were also reasonably priced.◆The room is Japanese style and has an unusually relaxing space. You can hear voices from the next room, but it's a guesthouse so it doesn't really bother me.◆I will take a bath from 16:00. Each person uses the bathroom. It's boiling hot. I was really grateful to be able to take a bath immediately after a rainy trek.◆The washroom and toilet are shared, but they are very clean. They also have plenty of towels, and if you use them, you can put them in the used towels, so you can use them comfortably.◆You can use the washing machine, free detergent, and use the laundry area. There is also a place to wash your hiking shoes. I washed it immediately after climbing and hung it to dry, and it dried overnight. I'm so grateful! Most of the laundry was done during the trip.◆Hospitality from the people staying at the inn. It wasn't overdone, but they were very attentive and wonderful. On the day of the Jomon Cedar Trekking, they arranged breakfast and lunch for us at 4:30 a.m., and even handed over the food to us and saw us off.◆Good location, about 10 minutes by car to Yakusugi Nature Museum, the starting point of the Jomonsugi Cedar Trekking.◆I really enjoyed reading the many ``traveler's notebooks'' in my room. That alone was a great way to pass the time and serve as a reference for sightseeing.6,500 yen per night including dinner is probably too much.Whether you are traveling alone or in a group, this is a very good guesthouse. I will definitely go again. I understand that there are many repeat customers.Thank you very much for your help.

Although it is a small, family-run inn, it is located in a quiet location, and you can wake up in the morning to the sound of nightingales. When you think of Yakushima, you think of fried flying fish.

The people are very kind and the food is delicious and filling! ! ! At night, I was soothed by the starry sky. The bathroom isn't very clean, but it can't be helped at this price! ! It was cheap.I will stay again next time.

I had so much fun with the different menus each day that I couldn't eat them all.Since I had an early departure in the morning, I had a bento box (breakfast and lunch) made for me. Even though it was early in the morning, around 4 o'clock, he handed me his lunch box and sent me off. It is conveniently located close to Jomon Cedar, Yakusugi Land, and Mt. Miyanoura trailhead.

Located in the Awa area, we stayed for 2 nights with half board included. The cost was 7,000 yen per night in February, and it is a comfortable and homey accommodation. There are rags and old newspapers next to the entrance, making it easy to take care of yourself after descending the mountain. There is also a trash can for lunch boxes and plastic bottles, which is helpful. The room is about 6 tatami mats in size, with a kotatsu in the middle, a TV, and an air conditioner. The toilet (washlet) and bath are separate, but they seem clean. Towels and hair dryers are also available in the bathroom. There are no toothbrushes, so please bring your own.The food is very delicious and there are many varieties. We also have sashimi and grilled fish, so you can fully enjoy seafood. The fried flying fish was delicious.A bottle of shochu from Mitake costs 300 yen, and a medium bottle of beer costs 450 yen. There was so much rice in the small bowl that it was hard to eat (lol)There is a laundry room in a separate building, which is very helpful for those returning from the mountains. Detergent is also available, there is no additional charge, and it is reasonable. There are plenty of purifiers, laundry hangers, and clothes hangers, so you can dry your clothes in a day.

My elderly father is responsible for cooking and other duties. The food was all homemade and good. From aperitifs to desserts. There is a washing machine (no dryer, but there is a coin laundry nearby), Wi-Fi, TV, and a communal refrigerator. You can order bento for mountain climbing. Also, even though I refused many times because it was early in the morning, they said they would see me off, so it was an old-fashioned guesthouse. Considering the owner's age, I don't think it will be long, but I hope he does his best. Also, since the mountain climbing notification is issued by the guest house, it is easy to forget to notify the person when descending the mountain, so I am grateful, but it may be better to choose where you submit the mountain climbing notification (I have not intentionally talked about submitting the mountain climbing notification individually). not)By the way, the price is as shown in the photo.20240317
