The quality of the spring water is very good and clean, but it is also slippery and smells of sulfur. When I looked at the ingredient list, it was a great sulfur spring. It's not a place like Kirishima or Unzen where sulfur springs gush out from the mountainside, so it's a strange feeling. It was my first time to see a hot spring gushing out between my feet and the rocks. Hot springs have a long history and were discovered by chance by a hunter in 1747 AD, so it has been around 280 years. The inn is closed, but you can only take a bath. There are no amenities such as shampoo or soap. There's no hair dryer either. Recommended for hot spring enthusiasts. There are also a lot of cats. But maybe it's not possible for young girls? It has a retro Showa feel to it, but if it could be cleaned up a little more, I think it would attract more customers. Since it's only 150 yen, I can't complain...

I visited there after hearing that there was a hot spring near Kajikaso. It is quite deep in the mountains and is out of range for several kilometers. The cobalt blue water has a surprisingly slippery feel, which even TV reporters were surprised by.There seems to be a source right behind the rock wall, and slightly hot water gushes out.The owner of the inn was kind enough to talk to us about various things. He seemed to love cats, and there were many of them sleeping in the parking lot. From the beginning to the end, I had a very pleasant time with the staff. At 150 yen per person, I think you can get more.

It's been over 30 years since I last visited with my father. There are two Shirakisendai Onsens, so I couldn't remember which one it was even when I looked at the entrance, but after taking a bath, the memories come back. It seems like the men's bath is connected to the bottom of the bathtub, and there is a mysterious small window, so this seems to be the Asahiya Ryokan with No. 1 spring. The clear blue hot springs are very similar to Yukawachi Onsen Kajikaso in Izumi City. The spring has a faint sulfur smell, is thick and soft, and has a low temperature (about 40 degrees today due to the rain), so you can stay in it forever. The luxurious hot springs that flow steadily will make you feel like you've arrived in heaven. The building is old and doesn't seem to have been renovated much, so of course there are no showers or faucets. The changing rooms are also undeniably dilapidated, but they do seem to be kept fairly clean. However, the thing that bothers me is the cat smell. There were many cats at the reception, but the moment I opened the door to the changing room, I could smell the strong cat smell. Maybe he urinated somewhere, or maybe he messed up on the foot wiping mat... 5 stars if it wasn't for this. 5 stars for the hot spring, 2 stars for the changing room. The road leading up to this point is quite narrow and can be a bit unsettling, but if there was a landslide due to heavy rain, the place and buildings would be empty. If you love hot springs, this is a very good hot spring that you should try at least once while it still exists.Parking lot is extremely small. A light car is ideal if possible.Bathing fee: 150 yen. If the landlord is present, we will hand it over directly to you. If you're not there, it's okay 😁The landlord is very friendly and talks to me about various things. There is also a mountain lodge with Shirakisendai Onsen (No. 2 hot spring) right next door. I think I would like to take a bath there next time.

The Hidden Hot SpringI went there around 6:00 in the evening when there weren't many people, and two people came later. The building is spectacular, but the hot water is the best. 150 yen is also good. You should go there at least once.

They do not provide lodging or meals. Hot spring bathing fee @ 150 yen. The host is very kind. The quality of the hot spring water is weakly alkaline and warm, and is it a secret hot spring? If you don't go soon, you'll run out. Recommended

I had been interested in this hot spring for some time, so I stopped by on a weekday day to enjoy the hot springs. We arrived there by following the narrow road using the navigation system. The one that goes up is Asahiya Ryokan. On the left is another hot spring inn. There were no washrooms or showers in the bathhouse, the washing area was full of 3 people, and the bathtub could fit about 5 people. The hot water is very beautiful. It feels slimy to the touch (that's a compliment) and makes your skin smooth. The water temperature is not high, but it warms you to the core. When it gets hot, I cool off while looking at the stream flowing below, then go back in and repeat. As rumored, the hot water was really beautiful. Even if it's far away, it's worth taking a bath.

The best hot springs in the ruinsUnfortunately, the facility itself has a very lived-in feel to it, so I can't say it's clean. If you come here, the toilet is on the second floor, but it would be better to go elsewhere. The owner's spirit of hospitality is very nice. This place is said to have similarities with the famous and popular hot spring, Kajikaso, so I will explain it.・Bathroom...The inside is dark and has separate partitions for men and women, but they are connected at the bottom, similar to Kajikaso (upper bath).- Self-spouting at the feet...There are no bubbles popping out like at Kajika-so.・Atmosphere...There are waterfalls and streams nearby, but I didn't hear the cries of sculpins.・Spring quality: This water has a higher temperature and smells like sulfur, making it feel like a deep spring. It's a very nice place, but it's for enthusiasts and not for everyone. He didn't try to flatter the customers, he was aloof, and that's what I really liked about him.
