There was dust in the room bath. The hallways and large bathroom were not kept well-cleaned.From the hotel's perspective, they were one of the many guests who come every day, but from the customer's perspective, I thought they probably didn't understand that this was a one-night stay on a precious vacation. It wasn't very relaxing and I won't go there again.

Anyway, it's nice, especially since the room is barrier-free, so it's excellent for the elderly, and it's amazing that there are two bedrooms and a living room.I was on the first floor, so I couldn't enjoy the view, and it was raining, so I felt lonely. The bath is wonderful, but there is a lot of walking inside, so it might be difficult for elderly people with disabilities. The food wasn't great, but it was very good. It's been a while since I've eaten in a private room.Anyway, this is an inn that you should definitely visit on a sunny day.Kaike Onsen's Tokoen Garden is known for its prime location, rich history, and unique charm. Facing the San'in Coast, you can enjoy the majestic scenery of the Sea of Japan. This hot spring area has been known for a long time and has been loved by many writers and artists.Tokoen itself was founded in the Meiji period, and its history spans over 100 years. This inn has a traditional Japanese architectural feel and offers a sense of peace to its visitors. Hot springs are said to be gentle on the skin, and are particularly effective for beautifying the skin.In terms of cuisine, Kaiseki cuisine using fresh local seafood captures the hearts of visitors. Dishes made with seasonal ingredients are works of art that can be enjoyed by both the eyes and the palate. At Tokoen, you can spend quality time with comfortable hospitality that will make you forget about your everyday life. The natural beauty of Kaike Onsen and the history and tradition of Tokoen will create an extraordinary space that will create unforgettable memories for visitors.

Cost reductions are blatantly exposed everywhere. If you go this far, it will become unpleasant.roomA normal Japanese room.TV is small. They probably don't care about making their customers feel comfortable.I don't think they are thinking about getting repeats.Big bathThe two baths are switched in the morning and evening. The hot water is flowing abundantly and it feels good.dinnerIt's a kaiseki meal, so it's in a private room. The service is also good. However, the customer who checked in at the same time and had a buffet meal was treated in a very blatantly poor manner.Even though I was a guest on a low-priced plan, I felt uncomfortable because I was treated like a customer service employee.

To begin with, the hot spring town itself lacks vitality and is quiet and deserted.I chose Tokoen because it has a four-star hotel rating and is famous for its architecture, but I felt a little disappointed. It's a large building with a beautiful garden and very spacious rooms. There's even a gallery inside the hotel, and I'm sure it must have been a great hotel a long time ago.But now...There were signs of rain leaks all over the hallways of the building, and the garden was not well maintained. The public bath and open-air bath seemed to have been closed for a long time. The shops inside the building have a small variety of products, and there is even a space where people from the neighborhood can sell items they have brought in, making it feel like a bazaar venue. However, the quality of the hot spring water, the bedrock bath, and the food were good. Although the number of staff was small, everyone was kind and courteous. It's truly a shame that this hotel will remain deserted. As the coronavirus subsides, we hope that the hot springs will be revitalized once again, and that the hotel will be able to regain its former glory.

We chose this cultural property inn for our stay in Tottori Prefecture during San'in Touring.First, let's start with the dissatisfaction. Perhaps because it was the hottest summer ever in history, the atrium lobby was over 30 degrees Celsius. It's a wonderful space, but I couldn't stay there for long. I feel bad for the hotel staff because it's so hot. The stairs of the main building, which is a distinctive feature from the exterior, are closed, and the open-air bath is also closed. The interior is reasonably clean, but there are a lot of bad spots on the exterior. You need to know this before staying here. However, it was an inexpensive stay without meals, and I had no complaints about the room I stayed in in the annex. There are no problems with the air conditioning. If you stay here, take a tour of the hotel. It's nice to take a walk in the courtyard, and the wallless space on the middle floor of the main building is a wonder. From the terrace on the top floor of the main building, you can see Mt. Daisen and Mihonoseki in the distance. However, even though it was designated as a cultural property, I don't think it received much assistance, and I feel bad for the management. I hope many people will visit this wonderful building. Overall, I think it's a good, inexpensive accommodation.
