I really liked it, but there was one thing: It was raining today and I wanted to take a bath in the open-air bath in my room, but there was no roof so I had to bathe while getting wet. I regret that I wish there was at least half a roof.

It was a quiet inn in the mountains.Enjoying the scent of the forestI was able to take a relaxing soak in the hot water.The room was also well cleaned.The food was also good.The vibration noise of the pump in the open-air bath needs improvement.

Thank you for taking care of my family.Since I was traveling with my 9-month-old grandchild, we stayed in a two-story detached house.The room on the second floor was a comfortable space, but the playroom on the first floor was humid and had a mildly unpleasant chemical smell, like mold. The smell in the toilet on the first floor was particularly bad.The smell of urine was terrible.I only used it for 2 days, but I couldn't get used to the smell until the end.This is just my personal opinion, but the breakfast had a lot of items and the volume was perfect, but it didn't suit my taste.As mentioned in other reviews, I also felt that it was okay to seek quality over quantity.The best thing was the bath.The water temperature was perfect for my preference, and it was a comfortable bath that I could take for a long time without being too hot.I want to go again just for that reason lolI would like to thank all the staff for their cordial response.Thank you so much♪

I heard that the open-air bath in the public bath was not available on the day I used it, so as an apology, I was given a complimentary drink with my meal, but I confirmed this when I used the public bath the next morning. When I checked, it was available for use, and I was able to check and use the open-air bath. The open-air bath was very nice with the morning sun shining in. The food was very delicious, and we were given a free sake tasting after the meal, making it a very nice stay. thank you.

I looked for this inn because I wanted to soak in the hot springs of Arifuku Onsen. Soothes your skin! The next day, my makeup went on well.The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious!

This is a dragon inn that you should definitely stay at this year of the Dragon!At the entrance, a cool blue dragon welcomes you. The mouth of Bihada Onsen is a fairly large and impressive dragon's head.A clever setting that doesn't feel artificial at all. The cleanliness is spotless. There was a free Kakuuchi service where you could sample sake and other drinks, and small snacks such as rice crackers, popcorn, and ice cream bars were also available.The amenities are also stylish and take SDGs into consideration. Bring your hairbrush and towel from your room to the public bath in a nice hand basket. Besides, everything is provided in the bath, including cold and delicious water.The private bath is also free no matter how many times you use it.

Since I went on a weekday, I had both the open-air bath and the private bath to myself.The room was clean and the open-air bath attached to the room was also nice.It was very nice because it was quiet and relaxing.However, the washroom in the room was combined with the toilet, so it was difficult to use.The food was also very delicious.

The service was very good.There were small mini-cup noodles in the hallway with a sign that said ``Feel free to use,'' and coffee and alcohol were available next to the front desk.The more I walked through the inn, the more thoughtful I felt everywhere.The food was also really delicious.The open-air bath attached to the room was directly connected to the slope of the mountain, and there were stick insects in the bathtub, but that was a nice touch.I was able to relax.Thank you 😊

I stayed at BotanThe room was elaborate, but I was asked if it was comfortable...Also, I can't really get a SoftBank signal; there is Wi-Fi, but I couldn't make calls.You can look forward to the food. Please try it.

The hotel is located right next to the road and is easy to find.Different from other hot spring hotels, because it is an old private house renovated, it is integrated with nature but has a modern flavor. The service staff are very enthusiastic and like family and are eager to introduce the hotel facilities to us who are not familiar with Japanese🤣However, bathing directly in the open air may not be so easy for some people to accept😆

As per the reviews, the food was delicious.In the lobby lounge, there was a counter where you could sample the wine and sake recommended by the hotel.In addition to alcohol, we also have a wide selection of soft drinks such as coffee, black tea, and herbal tea.Except for the bath attached to the guest room [Botan], the water is not fed directly from the source. We stayed in the [Azalea] room, but the bath in the room was not hot spring water, but tap water.As for the circulation, both the two types of private baths and the hot water in the large public bath were very warm.It seems that the hotel was fully booked on the day of my stay, but as I was told at check-in, ``There are only 9 rooms, so it's easy to reserve the public bath for yourself,'' and it was indeed a private stay every time.There was a waiting time for the private bath from check-in to dinner, but other than that I didn't have to wait for a space.Since it's an inn in the mountains, it was very quiet at night and I was able to sleep well.``There's really nothing at Arifuku Onsen. If I need anything, I'll stop by the convenience store. (We asked for a pick-up from Namiko Station) The host was humble, but that added to its charm in a good way.Next time, I would like to stay at Arifuku Onsen Nushiya for several nights to have some time to do nothing.

I was really looking forward to it as the reviews were very good, but I was a little disappointed with the price.The interior of the room and front desk was beautiful, and the service of sweets and drinks was also nice. However, I was concerned about the dust on the ventilation fan and air conditioner and the maintenance of the equipment.There was also a problem during the meal, but it was a bit easier to deal with than I expected, and I was disappointed that it wasn't shared within the restaurant. Maybe the food could have been upgraded.I was able to use both hot springs privately, so it was very nice.

Get off at Asahi Interchange and walk for a while. Heading deeper and deeper into the mountain, you will find it just a few hundred meters past Arifuku Onsen town.It looks like it will be swallowed up by the mountain! ? It looks like Totoro will appear. When you step inside, it is very beautifully built. (See image)The customer service from the employees is ◎, and there is a free corner with coffee, orange juice, sake and wine, sweets, popcorn, and ice cream. I drank all kinds of sake.The room is spacious enough, and there are 2 family baths, an indoor bath and an open-air bath in the large public bath. You can use the family bath as much as you like. What's more, it's free.The meal is a kaiseki course, with explanations for each dish. The taste is perfect! The breakfast might be amazing. I had the salt-grilled sea bream.It was built to be barrier-free, and I was able to take a stroller to my room and to the dining area. The room also had a unit bath, so I took a bath with my baby.Although there was nothing to do in the mountains, I felt relieved of stress and was able to relax.The hot spring water was okay...but I was surprised at how smooth my skin was the next morning!There seem to be three public baths in Arifuku Onsen town. However, there is a fee. Nozawa Onsen in Nagano has about 20 public baths, and they are free (donation requested). However, it was really hot...It was quite cool in the mornings and evenings, but there were quite large and dangerous-looking mosquitoes. There were lots of insecticides in the rooms, public baths, and other areas, including insecticides for bees that I had never seen before.In summer...be careful! Maybe.

Mother-in-law, aunt (sister)I went to stay there with 4 people including my husband and wife.This is a quiet inn in the mountains.We chose our accommodation from 4 rooms in the main building and 5 separate rooms based on the website and word of mouth.The mothers-in-law are in Botan's room.The only open-air bath is a separate room from the hot spring.We are in Asebi's room in the main building.It's located in the center of the main building, so I thought I could enjoy the view.There are three baths: a large bath and a private bath (stone bath and cypress bath).I was able to do it slowly.The food was also delicious.On the 1st floor of the main building, there was a free drink corner with sake and wine, as well as coffee, and on the 2nd floor, there were popsicles and small sweets. Satisfied with everything.(Notes)If you are going from Hiroshima, the navigation will show you the route from Asahi via Mimata Onsen.This road is too narrow.It's difficult to separate.We recommend getting off at Kinjo Smart Interchange.

One of the best onsen ryokan experiences we have had (in 10 years living in Japan and subsequent holidays). While Arifukuonsencho is pretty off the beaten track this is worth the trip. We got the train to Gōtsu and then a 4,250 yen (20m) taxi ride to Nushiya.Nushiya is a small luxury ryokan of 9 rooms. For what it offers it is reasonably priced.The rooms have been recently refurbished in a very smart modern Japanese style. (We were very generously upgraded from a small room to one better able to accommodate us and our luggage - don’t book the small 22m^2 room unless you are travelling light!)Two private family baths and then separate women’s and men’s public baths. The private baths are indoors but can be made open air by opening the sliding doors. The public baths have both indoor and outdoor areas. Being up in the trees insects clearly can be a problem, but bug spray is provided for all the baths.Meals were uniformly excellent. We tried all of the sake tasting option and the wagyu beef set along with the kaiseki meal at dinner. Japanese breakfast was also both beautiful and tasty.The lobby are provides complimentary tea, coffee, sake (a regularly changing selection) and wine until 10pm - a very nice facility.

Excellent value lovely ryokan, with very kind staff. The food was delicious and the onsen excellent. There are two private baths available on a first come first served basis which you can use as many times as you wish, which is plenty as there are only 9 stylish rooms, several with their own private bath. The sake tasting / coffee room was a bonus. Not much English is spoken but a QR code gives all you need to know. Highly recommended.
