Such a nice place with an even nicer host. He helped us with with so many things and his knowledge about the island is incredible. A bit remote maybe, so a rental car definitely pays off.I really enjoyed my stay in Yamanose. The host is very kind and gives the impression that he knows everything about Yakushima. He often recommended places and dates that were worth visiting, which was very helpful. Thank you for the fun time!

A guesthouse run by a farming couple.There were about 4 rooms, all of which were made of wood and had no wallpaper, making them very fragrant. There is also an air conditioner, so it is very comfortable.It's a local farm in Yakushima, so we ate not only fresh vegetables but also Yakushima's specialties at a barbecue while drinking beer.He has been a guide for a long time and knows everything about Yakushima.Many of the people who run other guesthouses have immigrated, but it's great to be able to hear stories from locals who have lived here for a long time. This is the real pleasure of traveling.They also do free diving, so they provide you with fish.This is a guesthouse with all the best features, so we highly recommend it.The owner is not good at using the internet, so we can only help by phone ☎️At first, it says it's for nuisance calls, but they don't seem to know the settings.I stayed for 5 nights and 6 days, and I ate passion fruit and tankan every day.Barbecued meat is also a specialty.Many celebrities have stayed here as well. There was a photo.This is an inn where you can rejuvenate yourself mentally.I highly recommend it, so if you like Yakushima, please come and try staying here!
