It's such a great facility, but isn't there a way to make better use of it?I feel lonely. There's nothing.

I visited on a Sunday, but there were no parking spaces, and the facility was propped up against a wall and the lights weren't on, so I wasn't sure if it was open or not. There was also a restroom a short drive away.Because of the high altitude, the scenery was very beautiful. The sky feels so close.Please note that of course there is no soft serve ice cream available at the farm.

■Employee's attitude is too badI asked the person at the tourist information center in Hitachiota if there were any hidden spots, and they introduced me to them.I was looking forward to driving an hour to visit the place because it was a filming location for a movie, the scenery was beautiful, and I heard that I would be able to have lunch there on Saturday.However, when we actually arrived, the lights at the entrance were off and the automatic entrance door would not open.When I gave up and went back to the parking lot to go home, I saw an employee? A lawn mower? I passed by, so I called and asked about it, and was told that it was open today.When I nervously opened the automatic door, I saw an employee coming from the back. A lady who seems to be“I’m going to start the fire now, so it will take a while to cook, but is that okay?” “And I don’t have anything to eat!”he said with a strong tone.I was surprised that there were some menu items that I couldn't serve even though I was the only customer.This may be subjective, but I felt very uncomfortable as they seemed to be asking me to go home.I was so excited to have a nice Saturday, but it all went to waste.■Roads are not maintainedThe road along the way is not maintained at all, and branches will hit your car as you go. I don't think people who don't like getting their car scratched should proceed.■The location is greatthe place was really niceThe building is really on the top of the mountain, so it looks down on the surrounding mountains and forests, and is it actually the site of a ranch? The way the neatly maintained grassland moved in the wind was like a scene from a movie.I can clearly see why it is a filming location.That's why I'm so sorry

Accommodation facility where you can enjoy BBQ, camping, etc. The power of the wind turbines for wind power generation was amazing. Also, the beauty of the stars in the night sky seems to be popular, so there is an observatory facility (reservations required).

Plateau Satomi: It's a wonderful place rich in nature...The starry sky is the best, there are very few lights around, the best location ✨The neighboring villages are also quite far away...I wonder if the previous management system (designated manager?) has changed...Wonderful environment, delicious air, rich natural environment, and the ecosystem remains the same...It's a nice environment even if you don't stay overnight ✨

It is a famous starry sky spot that represents Ibaraki Prefecture.Honestly, I think I felt a little nervous while setting the car navigation system and heading down the mountain path, but when I looked up at the sky, I was so moved that I could see the stars blurring out.I didn't see any blurring, but I was impressed.

There is no particular reason to visit during the day.It is not a very pleasant place for visitors, so it may be better to just pass through it without stopping even if you are on a motorcycle tour.

Great for seeing stars!! ️Next year, observation sessions will be held on the third Saturday from April to November (excluding July). Please stay overnight and come for astronomical observation.

I went auto camping with my family. Although the area was well maintained, the surrounding area was natural and not overly maintained, making it a very comfortable campsite.It's very atmospheric to see so many windmills, and best of all, the sky is full of stars at night! It was like a natural planetarium, and my family had a lot of fun as we went to catch the Orionids meteor shower.We recommend that you choose section No. 1, which is close to the toilets and kitchen, but you will be able to see other users every time you go to the toilet, so if you are concerned about this, you may want to consider the direction in which you set up your tent.The toilet looks a little old-fashioned from the outside, but the toilet seat is warm and the inside is clean.However, even though it's already cold at night, there's no hot water in the kitchen...so that's ⭐︎-1.When we called in advance, the receptionist seemed to have a rather arrogant attitude, and my husband was unsure whether to choose another campsite until the last minute, but I'm glad we went!

There are accommodation facilities and the surrounding area is a ranch.The ranch seems to be closed due to the earthquake, and there are no animals at the ranch.There are wind turbines nearby, and when the wind is strong, you will be surprised by the tremendous sound they make...From the observation space at the back of the first parking lot, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the southwest side.If the weather is nice, you can also see a beautiful sunset over the mountains in the distance.It is also a famous spot for astronomical observation, with a starry sky at night. Why not take a photo of the windmill and the starry sky as a set?In the early mornings of autumn, you may occasionally be able to see a sea of clouds from a distance.If you are coming from National Route 349, we recommend taking Prefectural Route 22.Please be aware that Prefectural Route 245 is quite narrow and it will be hopeless if there is an oncoming vehicle.However, the starry sky you can see here is worth seeing!Public toilets are closed during winter.

Due to a typhoon, we had to cancel. I felt kind of sad because there was no clear statement about the cancellation policy, and I was asked to pay without even apologizing for my point.It seems that 50% of the payment will be made the day before, and 100% on the day of payment.

I went out with the idea of taking my pet for a walk and enjoying some delicious soft-serve ice cream at the farm, but the farm was closed and the restaurant closed at 2pm. When I was thinking about what to do, the lady at the restaurant scolded me and told me not to put my pet down and to keep it in the car.I would like it to be written that the farm is closed, and if pets are not allowed, I would like it to be written at the entrance. It was a waste of gas money for a considerable distance.

It's like a sacred place for star photography in Kitaibaraki.The campsite was in a great location.Due to the high altitude, mornings and evenings are colder than in the flatlands.However, I was asked to clean the kitchen sink at the campsite (I understand so far), sweep and mop the floor, and return home after being charged a considerable usage fee.picture? What do you make customers do?Does the lady on staff not want to work?I was asked a little bit about my check-out time, but if I don't work much, I think it's okay to be a little late.The toilet has a washlet and is fairly clean.
