After sightseeing in Kasama, I bought some souvenirs at a roadside station and arrived at Hotel Ayu-tei, where I would stay for the night. I can get there without getting lost, guided by the signboard, but gradually I start to wonder if this is really the right path. It's a heart-warming journey that makes you want to ask questions, so you can feel a little nervous (lol). At the end, you can see the reinforced concrete building and feel relieved.Although the inside of the building is not the latest, it is well maintained and comfortable to use. The bath was a rock bath, but the women's bath seems to be made of cypress. The sweetfish dish I was looking forward to was as delicious as I expected. In the morning, a hotel employee told me various things, such as that fishing is not possible in Ibaraki Prefecture, so we have to use nets and fishing, and that depending on the season, we can produce ayu with young. I ate breakfast saying that I would like to come back around that time.

I used it at a banquet.I was satisfied with the dishes, including the famous salt-grilled sweetfish and kamameshi. The building feels old, but the restrooms have been renovated and we had a comfortable stay. The banquet hall was equipped with tables and chairs, and we could see the Kuji River from the venue, making it very comfortable.

I really liked it.As mentioned in the reviews, the building is old.I think if you make noise in your room, you can hear the voices next door. However, I don't think people who know the old building would care much about that.Personally, I have a proprietress who has a Showa feel and speaks to me in a friendly manner...I was able to relax for the first time in a while.cookingSince you can eat raw ayu, I wonder if they use farmed and wild ayu differently 🧐I don't usually eat fish because I don't like fish that have a lot of bones, but they handled it carefully and it was very easy to eat. Also, is the sashimi konnyaku made here?It was chewy and delicious ☺️However, I don't think it's enough for people who are big eaters.I felt like even women wanted a little more. Also, as everyone has written, the futon was fluffy😊The best~🎵

At the time of the coronavirus pandemic, I brought my 6th grade boy with me to enjoy a bath and meal. Ayu sashimi is seasonal, so you need to confirm your accommodation. The food, such as sweetfish kamameshi, is very good. When I received a handmade mask from the hostess of the inn, I felt Ibaraki's hospitality. I think there was an Ibaraki Freshwater Aquarium and a place where you could make paper with Funnatto near this inn.I'm a fisherman at the freshwater aquarium, and I was very excited when I caught a giant fish with a fish scooping net.

The meal was used at a memorial service for the 13th anniversary of the death.Enjoy salt-grilled sweetfish and Hitachi beef sukiyaki. Depending on your budget, you can flexibly respond by changing the hot pot to sukiyaki or changing the ayu kamameshi to gomoku kamameshi.Thank you for the meal*°

The sweetfish course had a wide variety of dishes and was all delicious. Although the building is a few years old, the rooms are very clean. The futon was very soft and nice. When I asked for a surprise birthday celebration (for a fee), they kindly accommodated, and the celebration was better than I imagined.

First visit. I searched because I wanted to eat sweetfish. I went there because the reviews were good. The building passes through a narrow road (like a ridge road), and at the end of the road is Ayu-tei. It was a building with a sense of history, but it was clean and shiny. I also wanted to take a bath, so I was sent to a room on the second floor for dinner, which had a table with a large window that gave a sense of freedom. The food was delicious and we had a great time! The food was as described on the website, and they listened to my wishes, which was good. The sweetfish sashimi was crunchy and delicious! thank you very much!

Stayed for one night with breakfast included.I arrived at night, but the road to the inn was so narrow that I couldn't pass each other, and I started to wonder if there was really anything ahead. As the location is as mentioned above, the surroundings of the inn were quiet and comfortable.Although the facility is undeniably old, it was well-maintained and had plenty of amenities. The futon was made of two layers, a futon and a mattress, so it was very comfortable to sleep on.There are some hotels where just one thin futon can make your body hurt, but this consideration was very nice. The bathroom looked new.It was very nice to have lotion, hair dryer, and soaps. For breakfast, the sweetfish came out fresh and was grilled on the table and I was able to eat it piping hot.It was my first time to eat open ayu, but unlike salt-grilled, it had a stronger flavor and was delicious. You can eat the whole fish from head to tail.Although the facility feels old, I feel that it is an inn that is full of hospitality and I can recommend it.

Although the building was old, it was clean and the doors to the guest rooms were very interesting. There was a Showa-style kotatsu in the room, which made it very relaxing. The evening meal full of ayu was very delicious, and the rare open ayu for breakfast was exquisite. The women's bath was clean, but the shower wasn't working well and the hot water didn't come out well. It seemed like I could take a bath anytime, so I was able to relax and enjoy it over and over again. It was a shame that the room didn't have a toilet.
