Visited with my mother in early July. The inn is limited to two groups per day, so it seems difficult to get a reservation, but luckily I was able to make a reservation just in advance. It's about a 17-minute walk from Izukogen Station, and they also offer a shuttle service. I walked there and back, and there were some hills along the way that made me sweat. Even though it's a plateau, it was still hot, so it might be a good idea to ask for a shuttle in the summer. When we arrived, Mika-chan, the signboard cat, was sleeping on the terrace. He is very friendly and will purr when you pet him. cute. The hostess who welcomed us was a soft-spoken and very pleasant person. The room on the second floor is spacious and has a nice hot spring! Wi-Fi is also available. (There were some insects like flies in the hot water, but there is a bug net for the bath, so you can clean it thoroughly.)The bathroom is sunny and looks like a sunroom. If you open the door leading to the balcony, it will look like a semi-open-air bath.It was summer, so it was hot when I entered the hot spring, but I thought the best part of staying in a room with a hot spring was that I could quickly cool down in a cool, air-conditioned room while enjoying the breeze from the fan.If you check in by 16:00, you can receive welcome sweets. They brought cheesecake and iced tea to my room. It was delicious.I also had a pot of cold barley tea. When it runs out, you can get it again, and I feel like the water in the bathroom in the room was also drinkable and delicious. (Details are written in the inn's information booklet under the TV.)Dinner and breakfast are on the first floor. There is a terrace right outside, where you can watch Mika while enjoying a luxurious and delicious meal. He also showed us eating at night. She’s like a lady cat who won’t eat unless the hostess stays with her and takes care of her🐱LOLIt was a wonderful inn that I would like to visit again in different seasons✨
