Second use.I visited last time and liked it, so I visited for 3 consecutive holidays. Take the bus from Shinkansen Nasu-Shiobara Station, get off one stop before the last stop, and then walk there. It's convenient to use public transportation. The baths are open until 8:30 in the morning, but being able to stay overnight is irresistible for hot spring lovers.Accommodation fees are cheap. .You can do it slowly. The building is old but kept clean.

Although it is a historical inn, it is a cheap inn where you can stay for only 3,550 yen without meals and a bath tax of 150 yen.Parking is available near the inn, and payment is made at the time of check-in.The baths are located in the basement and on the 3rd floor, and the genders change at 9:30pm.The room is 12 tatami mats in size and has a refrigerator and toilet, but no air conditioning. The quality of the spring water is simply the best. The quality of the spring water is the same on both the basement and the third floor, and although it's a bit hot, you can feel soothed while taking a bath filled with hot spring water. The toilet is Japanese-style, so kids these days might feel a bit reluctant. It's a long-established, rather large inn that has been designed so that it can be operated by a small number of people, so the number of guests is relatively small compared to the size of the inn, so I think it's a recommended inn in that sense.

2024/9 Used for overnight stay. The view from room 301 was of the river and even a waterfall. It has a bath and toilet, but no washlet. Equipped with air conditioner, fan and TV. Wifi is not available. The bathrooms are on the 1st basement floor and the 3rd floor, and the men's and women's baths change at 9:30 pm, so the men's bath is first on the 1st basement floor, which is recommended. Unusual-shaped changing lockers (no locks) The edges and floor of the bathtub are rugged due to the ingredients of the natural hot springs flowing directly from the source, making it irresistible for enthusiasts. On the third floor, no such ingredients were observed. Another advantage is that you can take a bath until 8:30 a.m. without worrying about the time.

I stopped by during Golden Week.Although the building is showing its age, it has been well maintained and we had a comfortable stay. The hot spring water has a metasilicic acid content of over 200, is extremely fresh, and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth.I went to Tamagawa in Akita and Zao in Yamagata and stopped here on the way back, and the hot springs had a nice finish. The river and waterfall can be seen right in front of the inn, and I was able to relax and cool off after taking a bath.I will also drop by.

This is a hot spring inn surrounded by mountains and a large river. There was no parking lot in front of the store, so the host of the inn directed me to a place a 2-3 minute walk away. The reception lobby had a nice old-fashioned atmosphere. In addition to that, I personally liked that they had old toys and recent manga books. The young proprietress gave us a polite reception.I also had a good impression that when I asked questions about my stay, they explained things in a very easy-to-understand manner.I think the selling point here is the reasonable accommodation rates.I think this price is cheap for a room without meals. The room was spacious and I was able to relax.Unfortunately,The only thing that happened was that the timing of my stay was bad, or maybe the drain in the inn's hot spring was clogged? Or maybe it was malfunctioning, and after various people including me washed our bodies and heads, the hot water didn't go down the drain, and used water was dripping about 5cm from the floor of the hot spring. There was a risk of slipping, and from a sanitary standpoint, I felt uncomfortable having my feet soaked in hot water that someone else had used.If you are planning on going to a hot spring, I think it would be a good idea to call in advance to confirm or to go at a later date. It's a shame because the service and price were good.

I couldn't see the Orion constellation in my hometown, but I could see it in Tochigi! I went there in the first half of October, and it was my second time here, but the staff was very friendly and the lunch boxes (deep-fried chicken and yakiniku) were delicious. They also sell cup ramen, so I didn't have to go to the convenience store when I was hungry. I'm grateful that I was able to buy it! !
