A very unique Japanese-style house. The house is very well maintained and the environment is very clean. The boss is also very enthusiastic. There is also a wood-burning stove in the old house. It is really special! A great travel experience!

We loved our stay in this beautiful kominka, Peter and Masami were excellent and welcoming hosts. We thoroughly recommend staying here, it was very comfortable, clean, and convenient as well as a really cool experience to stay in such an old and interesting house. We really enjoyed exploring the historic district of Jinaimachi and having a hot bath and comfy futon to retire to. Peter and Masami really show their passion for the house they renovated and know so much about, it's really interesting to hear about it from them and they also gave us lots of great recommendations. If you have any interest at all in Japanese history and culture this is a wonderful place to stay.
