I came here to enjoy the open-air bath, the scenery, and the meals made with local Izu ingredients.

I looked at the reviews, but there was a big difference and I was worried.I stayed at Takenoko for my first stay.First of all, regarding customer service, I felt that there were more foreign employees than I saw.I think that's probably why people tend to think that honorific language is not used.I think my impression was that they tried their best to speak difficult Japanese. However, it's not cheap, so if you're concerned about honorific language, I think you should quit.I was very satisfied with how hard they responded. The open-air bath in each room was quite nice.I was worried that there would be a shower outside, but there was one, so I was able to wash my body outside and feel like I was in an open-air bath, which was great.Kami also came in three times a day.It feels very luxurious. The food was so rich that I was full both in the morning and in the evening. The breakfast was delicious and I didn't feel hungry even after noon. There was also Wi-Fi, which was nice. The negative points are that the location is difficult to find and the stairs are difficult. This may be difficult for elderly people and small children. Also, it would have been better if it was possible to bring in alcohol. The drinks you want to drink vary from person to person.Overall, it's one of the hotels I'd like to stay at again, so I definitely wanted to go there on our anniversary.

I reserved a room with an open-air bath. Parking is available at Skyline, and you have to go down some stairs to reach the inn. It is not suitable for people with impaired legs. The food was low in price. It was painful to eat in a tatami room! ️Maybe I should at least replace it with a chair seat. The situation is unimaginable without Wi-Fi in your room. It's unthinkable these days. Anyway, it was an old inn and the rooms were old.

The rooms are well-maintained and clean.Even though the room was a smoking room, there was no smell at all.Great views from the terrace. The open-air bath had a great atmosphere and I took it many times. Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying in terms of quantity and flavor. The staff are always friendly. The young foreign staff did their best to explain the dishes carefully and in beautiful Japanese.Thank you very much for your kind response. Each room seems to have a different bath, so I'd like to stay in a different room next time.
