We were told there was a public onsen to take a shower. We arrived and the clerk behaved terribly!! He kicked us out and said there are no showers and no onsen even though we saw people going in and out of the onsen with shampoo and conditioner in addition to what is written on Google Maps that the place is a public onsen. We didn't understand what the problem was, he just turned around and stopped talking to us and motioned with his hands for us to go. Disgraceful behavior for tourists!!!

The hotel is in an old building and has a nostalgic atmosphere. It felt like there had been a minor update, and it was clean and comfortable. It seems that many rooms have a shared bath and toilet, but if you pay more, you can get a room with a unit bath. The room was fully equipped with amenities such as a refrigerator and kettle. The room is bright and has Wi-Fi, making it convenient for working. Apparently there is a coin laundry. It is conveniently located close to the station and a convenience store next door. Credit card payment was OK. The front desk staff was polite and nice.

Stayed here on a motorcycle trip in August 2023. At the time, the hotel was fully booked for the Hokkaido Inter-High School, and I happened to find it by chance.Facilities such as rooms and amenities are the same as in business hotels. Secoma next door was the best environment. There is a roadside station and restaurants nearby. Close early.Parking is free outdoors. As the cost of lodging around Shiretoko has skyrocketed since the end of the coronavirus pandemic, I found an affordable lodging 30 kilometers away.

The cost performance was good if you were just staying the night. However, the hallway on the floor where I stopped smelled of cigarettes and was quite unpleasant. The room didn't smell like cigarettes and was spacious and comfortable. It's a bit inconvenient that the bath and toilet are separate.

It's about a 5 minute walk from the station, and there's a convenience store (Seicomart) right next to it, so it's very convenient.Perhaps because I stayed in a room with a shared bath and toilet, it felt more like a station-front inn than a hotel, but the room itself was reasonably comfortable and the public bath was reserved for private use, so I didn't have any particular problems. The front desk staff was also nice, so I think it's not a bad option if you're staying in Shari.

It's cold when you stay in winter 🥶I don't think it's possible with an air conditioner heating and a portable stove that shuts off in 30 minutes. The room is spacious and comfortable, but the toilet does not have a washlet 🐮💦
