What a fantastic experience. I’m surprised that the pictures don’t do it justice so I’ll try to correct this. It might seem expensive but you get a beautiful modern japanese room, breakfast and dinner. The food is very authentic, tasty and well-prepared. It’s a well-thought tour of Japanese classics: varied pickles, local produce, noodles, tempura, soups…Then, the rooms are beautiful, minimalistic but of great quality: wood everywhere, good lighting, you feel at home. The private onsen is great, it’s designed to look natural thanks to black rocks. The whole property is quite cozy with a library and good decoration. Just one piece of advice: hire a good photographer for the new rooms! There’s also a car park and they offer star-gazing tours.

After all, the food was absolutely delicious. The private bath was also great, and the reason I dropped one star is because something happened at check-in that made me feel a little irritated.I think it would be perfect for me if you could think about the customer a little bit and act accordingly.By the way, the parking lot and directions when moving are easy to understand, rather than having to move multiple times.I think it's important to book your accommodation in advance.I think there is a lack of manpower, but everything else is excellent, so I don't think it's a waste.

Customer service is very good.Since they had a larger room available, they upgraded our room for free. However, dinner was sloppy, the appetizers were not prepared, and they didn't even ask for drinks, but I went there just in time and had to wait for a while without anything.Maybe because I'm a drinker, the flavors were all bland. My companion doesn't like cucumbers, so I told him that in advance, but the pickled squid and cucumbers and salad looked like they had been mixed with cucumbers and then left out the cucumbers, so they were inedible for people who don't like cucumbers. Is this what you should do if you have an allergy? The futon was made of two layers, but it was a rice cracker futon that made my back hurt. The bath is a private bath with flowing water.Heating, water addition, chlorine, circulation.

I was refused day trip bathing.I went there because there was a huge sign posted on the side of the national highway that said day trip bathing was allowed, but it ended up being a complete waste of time.If you refuse for any reason, the signboard should be removed.I felt very uncomfortable. I won't go to Kanawa.

It was a place I had wanted to go to for a long time, but recently there were a lot of inbound tourists, so the staff mainly guided people there, and I feel like the service for Japanese people was not good at all.

Amazing ryokan in the mountains of Kiso Fukushima. The traditional ryokan was a great way to get immersed in the culture. Go explore forests, rivers and small surrounding towns during the day and come back in the evening for amazing food and great onsen.
