Make a reservation the day before and leave. With about 15 minutes left until we reach the campsite, we will start climbing up the narrow mountain path. The manager was not present as it was a last-minute reservation and it was a weekday, but he kindly contacted us via SMS and asked us to put the money in the donation box, and the check-in was completed unattended. Completely solo camping with no other users.I think it's good that you can park your car next to the site and most sites have power. The toilet is a stylish polygonal building, and there are a lot of dead insects, so be careful if you don't like it. It's a Western-style washing machine, so there aren't any particular stains, and I personally think it's clean. The kitchen was beautiful. There are 5 to 6 shower rooms in the administration building, which are available 24 hours a day for 100 yen per 3 minutes. There was also a vending machine at the entrance of the administration building, and 500ml PET was 130 yen, so I think it's cheap. It may be a seasonal issue, but the wind was very strong day and night. It was mid-August and it was a bit hot, so although the tent was well-ventilated, I slept without a sleeping bag.The manager was not present when I checked out, but I was able to receive an immediate reply via SMS, which was great. It feels like a good old campsite and I highly recommend it.After that, it might just be my car's navigation system, but after the message that we had arrived, there was a campsite a few dozen meters uphill, so be careful if you're seeing it for the first time.

I stayed solo for one night from Saturday, April 2022. I made a reservation a week in advance. On the day of the event, there are still spaces available at several sites, and considering the recent camping boom, I think it's a little-known camping spot that's fairly easy to get reservations for.The basic price is 5,500 yen, but if you go solo, it will be 3,500 yen. You can dispose of trash and ashes at the campsite, and there is even a shower. What's more, all sites are fully equipped with electricity, so it can accommodate a wide range of camping styles. The sink in the kitchen was relatively clean, but the toilet was designed to be half outside and felt old, so it didn't feel very clean and the smell was bad. There is no shop, but firewood and Swedish torches are available for sale at the reception. There was also a vending machine. The asphalt on the road leading to the campsite is peeling off, and there are some places so narrow that it's impossible to separate, so it might be difficult for people who aren't confident in their driving skills. However, other than that, there were no problems at all, and it is a campsite that I would definitely like to visit again.

If you use the expressway from Nagoya, you can get there in less than 2 hours. As you head towards Tadate Station from National Route 19, it gradually becomes a farm road? Forest road? It will be. There is a fair slope and the lanes are narrow, so it may be difficult for cars without power. The campsite itself is pretty good.【Administration Building】The manager was very friendly and nice. They also sold firewood (500 yen) and Swedish torches (1000 yen). Although the manager leaves in the evening, you can come and go as you like in the administration building, and all you have to do is put your firewood in the charge box.The Swedish torch was so huge it burned for 7 hours lolThe administration building also has a coin shower with good water pressure. However, there are some insects and black mold. I don't have high expectations for showers at campgrounds, so it wasn't a problem.【site】Each site is at a different height, so even if there are people at the site next to you, you won't be able to see each other directly, ensuring personal space. The site itself is not that large, but almost all sites have AC power, which is convenient.【toilet】It feels like it's fair to bad. It's not pretty, but it's not smelly either. There is no door at the entrance, so insects can come and go as they please.[Cooking area]The water area was beautiful. This may depend on the other site you are on at the time, but some places with bad manners will pour leftover food down the sink and clog it, but when I went there, there was no problem. .【river】There are two rivers, a big river and a small river. The large river has some sort of revetment construction, and although the footing is solid, it feels artificial. Some areas have pools, so you can soak up to your shoulders in the water. The water is beautiful.Small rivers have little water volume, so even children can play safely. There are many rocks and it is easy to play in the river.[Other facilities]Fishing Pond: It feels a little deserted. The building was dilapidated and no one was using it, so it's unclear if there were any fish in it.Garbage station: You can sort and throw away combustible garbage, cardboard, cans, bottles, etc. I don't have to bring trash home, which is helpful because my car doesn't smell like trash on the way home.

I stayed for 2 nights from November 2nd to 4th.There wasn't much information on the internet, so I was a little nervous before going, but it turned out to be a good experience. The site costs 5,000 yen per night and almost always comes with electricity. There doesn't seem to be any surcharge during busy periods. The road to the campsite had many difficult passages, and I got lost at the forks many times. The campsite is located in front of Tadate Falls, with an administration building above Fishing Ono Pond. They claim to be the most laid-back campsite in Japan, and the only explanation at reception was how to dispose of food scraps (lol). There is no key to the power supply, and the only firewood for sale is available at night when the building is unattended, as long as you pay for it the next day.Check-out was at 10am, which I thought was a little early, but for some reason most people were still relaxing even after 10am. Maybe late check-out was also free? The site has steps, so you don't have to worry about your neighbors. However, there are good and bad days of sunlight, and our site #36 was damp and sandy with no sunlight at all. There are about 6 showers in the administration building, so even on cold days I didn't have to be exposed to the cold wind immediately after showering. The changing rooms were also spacious, each with a mirror and an outlet, so I was able to use my hair dryer (I brought my own) after showering. The day trip hot spring was far away, so I took a shower, but it was warm enough. There were quite a few bugs in the toilet, which was unpopular with children who hate bugs, but the toilet bowl was cleaned properly. Although it is flushable, it is not a heated toilet seat. The kitchen does not have hot water, but it is kept clean. You can throw away most of your trash, except for gas cans.I got the impression that there were a lot of campers who were pretty used to it, probably because it wasn't a high standard. There were no people making noise late at night, so I had a comfortable time. This time, I was nervous because I forgot my pot, but there are no rental items, so please be careful not to forget anything. Some reviews said that the power supply was almost unusable, but I was able to use it without any problems. Please rest assured.Thank you to the manager who seemed to be a nice person.

The site has a forest side and a side closer to the river/pond. There is shade from the trees on the river side, but during the day it is quite sunny. It was empty on the day I used it, so I moved the chair to a cooler place depending on the situation. You have to go down a slightly steep road to get to the river, but the water is clean and it's shaped like a pool, so you can play in it without worry.Since it was from Tokyo, it took more than 5 hours. I think Nagoya is close. It's not that far after getting off at Nakatsugawa IC, but the road is narrow in some parts and there are no landmarks, so you need to set your car navigation system carefully and drive carefully. The management policy is very loose, so I don't feel like they have a full service lineup, but they allow me to do whatever I want, and when I went rainbow trout fishing, they provided me with a great service. You may like or dislike this policy, but personally I am satisfied with it.It has everything you need including a shower room, kitchen, and toilet. I thought this was enough. The site seems to be well maintained. There are bugs in the toilet, but that can't be helped, and the cleanliness is at a level that doesn't pose any problems. The shower is indoors so it is kept clean. There are no shops nearby. Convenience stores are also quite far away, so I think it's a good idea to buy everything you need. There is only a soft drink vending machine. There were reports of bears appearing near Tadate Falls, but they said they did not appear at the campsite. However, I was careful not to leave food waste overnight and to dispose of it properly at the garbage station.

The campsite is not beautiful, it is not well maintained, late checkout is expensive, if you stay until 12:00 you pay 2,500 more and if you go until 16:00 you pay 3,500 more!!The coin shower is disgusting, extremely dirty, full of mold, it looks like it has never been washed, the bathrooms are also extremely dirty, full of cobwebs, dead insects, it doesn't smell bad, but it has never been cleaned in life apparently. It looked like there was an infestation of bedbugs (maria stinky, kamemushi), I know that there are always bugs at campsites, but this one was unsuitable, there were too many, I think it was due to the fact that nothing was well maintained, even in the shower there were kamemushi.I don't recommend it to anyone.

Location without a beautiful view, the waterfalls are 15 minutes away on foot on a steep climb. Facilities and bathrooms without any maintenance, lots of dry leaves attracting a huge amount of insects (mainly kamemushi). There is no one at reception at checkout time. Bathroom full of mold, never cleaned. The brooms were in a corner full of cobwebs, which proves that not only this time we went but it was never clean. 2,500 more for checking out at noon. I would never come back here.

The site is small, but the kitchen, administration building, and garbage dump are located in the center, making it easy to live there. I wasn't expecting much from the toilet, but it was a Western-style flush toilet. The stream near the site is so beautiful that you can go for a waterfall tour nearby. You don't need floats or life jackets because you're just playing around with rocks.

Many of the plots have steps between them, and the view is somewhat obstructed. There are some trees on the boundary of the plot, and there is a forest behind it, so it feels like you can camp peacefully in the forest. The plot size is standard size. Depending on the location, it may be tough to use two rooms and a tarp at the same time. This is a campsite that I would like to visit again.

All sites? It has power and is a great campsite for trailers. However, the road to the campsite is narrow and uphill, so it may be difficult for large trailers. There are streams and fishing ponds nearby, so I think it's a good campsite. The toilets and kitchen facilities are "average".
