This accommodation blew us away. The 200year old house is spotless and incredibly stylish, with astounding attention to detail. Taishi and Hirona are very welcoming and friendly but also leave you to your privacy. They have created a wonderful oasis. The nearby hike to Kakizore Ravine is well worth it.

By far the highlight of our trip to Japan. The house and surroundings are stunning, offering the perfect opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and the authentic lifestyle of this amazing family. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming, and the food is simply exceptional—each dish reflecting the care and love poured into every detail. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Maybe the best experience my wife and I had in Japan. They are so nice and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and had the must beautiful view. The food is so good. The grand parents who also live there are farmers and the couple who runs the inn also helps. So the food was so fresh and tasted wonderful.I booked via instagram and got respond quickly. Also they are both djs, so there was awesome music also. Give this a try, you wont regret it!

I had the best time of my three weeks in Japan here. Hirona and Taishi are just the nicest people. I learned a lot about japanese culture from them. The food Hirona cooked was so good, nothing in Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka could beat it. With Taishi I made traditional Gohe Mochi, which was a lot of fun. The rooms are so beautiful and everything was perfectly clean. They were so welcoming and helpful. That experience was just priceless. The area around that place is great for hiking or just relaxing at the river. There is a lot to explore.

The house and our room were beautiful, and the dinner and breakfast were amazing. However, for 200 euros per night, I expected a bit more. It was difficult to communicate with the host because of our lack of knowledge of Japanese and I did not feel very welcome.

Easily one of the nicest accommodations and hosts in our entire travel history. We were warmly welcomed by Taishi & Hirona into a beautiful old Japanese house that takes your breath on the first sight. They also prepared a dinner that was based on handpicked local vegetables, fish and other goods in such a delicious way, that even Michelin guide/plate restaurants are hard to compete. Both dinner and breakfast were included in the price.Spending the evening and morning walk next day with both of them was amazing. Highly recommended and we are definitely coming back on our next Japan trip.

This was a really beautiful experience, and a privilege to be welcomed into our hosts’ home. The family warmly welcomed us into a spacious room and we were refreshed in the lovely 2 person bath after our walk. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, with a lot of variety of dishes. In the morning, everyone came to help us plan our walking route to our next stop. It was really helpful and we had a good day because of that.I would love to return to this place and meet this beautiful family again. They were very patient with my very limited Japanese.
