Magnificent Ryokan. The view, the quality of the service and dishes, the size of the rooms, the discretion of the staff.Everything is absolutely perfect and worth the price.

The Nakai's service and the cleanliness of the rooms don't match the high accommodation costs!I found more than 10 stink bugs the moment I entered the room! ! I told them that, but they replied that they had no choice at this time!Impossible for hygiene reasons! The food was of poor quality, just like the other reviewers, it doesn't feel like a luxury inn! It's a long-awaited trip. I will never go there again!

I stayed there thinking it was a luxury inn, but the food was disappointing considering the price. Also, it's not a hot spring. We were bitten by a lot of insects and felt terrible after returning home.Even if it can't be helped because it's a mountain...Considering the various prices, there were many things that I thought were ``hmm...''. It feels like you paid for the view. It's a shame since the location is so good. I think if they could do better, it would be a very nice place to stay.

Like no where else in the world! Our stay at Genmyoan could not have been better, it was absolutely sublime. I have traveled a lot, to over 30 different countries, and I have never stayed somewhere so beautiful. The view is unparalleled, the rooms are exquisite and the hospitality is so divine. I took my Mum here as a present for her 60th birthday and upon entering the room, she cried at how beautiful it was, telling me spending her birthday here was one of the best days of her life. The food is really delicious and the onsens with the gorgeous outlook are a big highlight. The owners are such beautiful, kind and welcoming people, it was a joy and pleasure to spend a night at their ryokan - which has been in their family for 8 generations!
