I used it as an overnight stop before climbing Mt. Kiso-Komagatake on the Fukushima B course from Kiso-Fukushima Kogara.The trailhead is just a stone's throw away, and the location couldn't have been better. The view from the window is also wonderful. Due to its high altitude, it is cool even during the daytime in summer, making it suitable for a recreational stay without mountain climbing.The rooms are clean, stylish, classy, ​​and comfortable. The clay birds displayed on the doors of each room are truly adorable. I want to buy it as a souvenir to take home.Dinner was a well thought out and expertly prepared dinner, very elegant and delicious. They also have a good selection of wines. The breakfast was well balanced and of course delicious.I would like to use it again when climbing Mt. Kisokomagatake.

Pensions can be quite difficult if you don't get along well with the owner, but the owner here was friendly and I had a fun stay.Although the room was old, it was sufficient and we stayed in a family room, so we went to a nearby hot spring instead of using the built-in unit bath.As others have written, the food was delicious. I really liked the bread, and the sautéed fish was fluffy and so fresh that you could easily remove the belly bone from the spine.I wanted to leave early the next day, so I had an early breakfast time. thank you very much.

This accommodation is one of the best we had in 3 weeks Japan. 🏆The host is lovely- he is super friendly and even made breakfast for us at a very early hour.The food was very lovingly preparedHe has a very sweet and lovely dog.We love Kuromaru. 🐾The house is located on a mountain and you can start hikes directly from there. The nature and the view are breathtaking.At night you can see millions of stars.We really enjoyed our time here and very much hope to come back some day. 🏔️🙏✨ Thank you so so much !

We really enjoyed our time at the hill top. The half board dinner, which the owner prepared with great passion, was delicious. The fireplace gave a really nice atmosphere to enjoy a glass of local wine.

I found it while searching through my memory. More than 20 years ago, my mother and three siblings stayed here for several years in a row.I think the dog that was there at the time was named Rock.Oh, it's so nostalgic. If I have a chance, I would definitely go again now that I am an adult.
