I used it for a solo trip in Maizuru! Use of female-only dormitory. You will receive an email in the afternoon of the same day with instructions on how to check in, and you will be able to open the key and enter by yourself. This was very convenient as I couldn't see the check-in time. There is one bath shower in the building. Everyone was cooperative and used the service quickly, and everyone took their turn quickly. There was also a form with instructions on how to use a nearby public bath, but it's only open until 9pm, so you'll have to watch the time before you go.Shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, and Samue can be borrowed for a fee, and one set of towels can be borrowed for free.It is fully stocked with hair dryers and hair irons.I was happy that there was a water server in the kitchen so I could stay hydrated! The living room is spacious and I was able to relax after taking a bath. The walls are a little thin, and you can hear the door opening/closing and people talking in the next room, so if that bothers you a little, it might be a good idea to bring earplugs. I thought so. (I was able to sleep soundly lol)Before my stay, I had some concerns and contacted them, but the staff was very kind and helpful.Next time I want to come stay with my friend. thank you very much.

Due to some business, my family and I stayed in Maizuru city.Since we live in an era where accommodation costs are high, I felt that this inn was in a convenient price range.Although I unlocked the front door without difficulty, I didn't know how to move from the front door.I timidly went in, timidly went up,In the end, I got the impression that I just went into a private room and slept.(I don't know if it was because the check-in time was late)I kept telling the kids to be quiet. It is unknown whether there was something like how to use the dormitory room. I didn't know how to use the shared space, so I didn't use it and couldn't use it.(I feel like I was being extra careful because the user on the same day seemed to be from a foreign country.)I understood that if I didn't cover the futon with sheets, I would be charged an additional fee.The lighting in the room was dark, and I couldn't see where the evacuation routes were written.I understand that the stairs are still steep and that they are taking care of the atmosphere by using an old building.Questions remained about the safety of the building itself. This was my first time in a guesthouse format, soI don't know if this is the case elsewhere, butI think it's a blessing that there are inns like this in northern Kyoto.

It was relaxing. Rental bicycles are often available from 9:00 a.m. if you use them for work, so it's also helpful to rent them while you're staying. Room clothes and a shaver are required for entering open spaces, using the toilet, and bathing. I was also impressed by how the staff politely answered my questions before my stay. I will use it again!

West Maizuru is a very calm and sweet place. Staying in Japanese style hotels is a good experience. There are many areas around that you can visit by train and bus. Also, Saikaan is a very clean place. I'm thinking of coming again.

Convenience, cleanliness, and interior are all top-notch. I want to visit again. It's much more satisfying than going to a luxury hotel.

I am a lone traveler. It is not difficult to find the address on Google. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Nishimaizuru Station. The main entrance of the hotel is locked. You need a Japanese phone number to find someone to open the door. I went to a nearby residence to ask for help. It was very embarrassing. If If you arrive late at night, you must make a reservation. There are fewer pedestrians nearby. I am very satisfied with the hotel overall. There are bicycles for rent, so you can experience a Japanese B&B. The underground is a shared space with a living room, kitchen, shared 1 toilet, 1 bathroom, and washing machine. If you are The family is a good experience. You can cook in the kitchen. There are induction cookers, ovens, toasters, rice cookers, portable LPG stoves, and common household kitchenware. You can walk up a staircase to the first floor. There are three rooms and 1 common room. There are two washbasins in the toilet, which can be placed next to the bed when traveling. The hotel provides locks. There is a space for drying clothes on the balcony on the first floor that can be used freely. It is good if six people rent a room together.
