I reserved a box for one person a day before my arrival and I got it for 16,500 yen, or €103, which I think is normal given the location and the late reservation.I chose a separate box, because I know that taking a place in a dormitory can be risky. All it takes is for your neighbors to be a little noisy or snoring for you not to sleep at night, which could turn the ride into a nightmare. The box in question was still very very basic and quite small, I'm 1m74 and there was 5cm left. There is just a sleeping bag, no blanket, and the pillow, what a nightmare, it was a small, not very thick rectangle covered with hard plastic. The padded floor of the box is also quite hard and not very comfortable. There is ventilation that can be activated and an electrical outlet, for my part, the weather was quite good, I was warm throughout the night. As for food, when we arrived the staff told us the time of the dinner which was included in the reservation, you have the choice between a meat meal and a vegetarian meal. But it's not a very hearty meal, especially since breakfast is not included when you wake up. Aside from some instant ramen, there isn't much to buy, so definitely plan to pack some food before the climb. As for the outside, the view was magnificent, there were also toilets in a separate hut, but no water not even for washing hands which is worth highlighting. In summary, I still had trouble sleeping because of the noise in the neighboring rooms, the very hard padded floor, the non-existent pillow. I will say that this hut is good for being able to climb the Fuji after 4 p.m., but it is not very relaxing, I think many people must not even be able to sleep properly. But at the time, I was so impatient to finish the climb and see the sunrise that it didn't bother me that much in the end.Arriving at the top the sunrise was magnificent.

It was my first time climbing and I didn't have a very good impression of the mountain hut, but the restrooms were also very clean and my impression changed a lot! ! I've used restrooms at other hotels, but I think they're about 1.2 rated. Dinner was also very delicious, the quantity was appropriate, and there wasn't a single staff member I didn't like. This accommodation is recommended for both first-time and experienced guests.
