Hotel Sages was not just an hotel, the place feel more like home. Loved everything about the place, the staff were super nice and friendly. I will definitely stay at Hotel Sages again.

I found this hotel to be disappointing and overrated. The property's maintenance was subpar, with noticeable uncleanliness, particularly in the bathroom. While the staff was initially responsive to my concerns about the non-functioning water heater, the issue remained unresolved. Communication became difficult, especially at night, as staff were unresponsive to WhatsApp messages. Follow-up requests were met with indifference, and the staff's attitude shifted from helpful to dismissive. Given these experiences, I have no intention of returning to this hotel and cannot recommend it to others

Very, very, very bad hotel, it is a hotel for Lizard every ware you will find a lizard when you walk in the hotel
We were running inside the rooms to avoid the lizards because they may fall on you any time

100/100 service! Staff were very friendly, very accommodating, the chef made the best nasi goreng for breakfast. Would return just for the staff :)Compound was beautiful, spacious, quiet. Location wasn't great though. It was a little ways out of the busier Canggu areas, BUT great for WFH (many shared areas to set up and do work, my friend and I were very productive and loved working here more than at cafes outside). Great stay if you don't intend to pop out and in of the villa much.Room was huge and well kept (you can tell it's quite worn into) but not the cleanest (bug squishes in the mats, seat/sofa cushions around the villa and in our room had some stains). Not many power points and they weren't in very convenient locations so it was hard to do work in our room (save for the bed). The room definitely looked better on social media than in person. Shower had a weak water heater, and hair products provided weren't great quality :/

The place is very beautiful, Instagrammable, so to speak)The photos of the rooms are beautiful, as are the photos of the hotel.But there are many little things that are off-putting.The breakfasts are very boring, we tried all the options, Nasi Goreng didn’t even have a couple of pieces of chicken, the pancakes were not bad, but dry, served with honey, powdered sugar and something like puffed rice. The fruit plate is very boring, three small pieces of fruit each, a total serving for a one-year-old child. And all this is separate only. We've already been to 5 hotels before, they all had very decent breakfasts, several options to choose from.Unfortunately, the restaurant is not open (breakfast only), but delivery is available.When we looked at the photo of the room, it was very light and beautiful. In life, unfortunately, there are small windows, which were apparently illuminated through Photoshop, because behind two of the three there was a wall and, accordingly, the light did not pass through. In general, the room is not as bright and light as in the picture.And the last minus, the pool. It feels like it hasn't been cleaned at all. You walk into a beautiful pool with perfect blue water, and on the surface you are greeted by ants, grass, caterpillars, leaves and just small debris. Swimming in this is not very pleasant, as you can understand🥲

Lovely hotel! So beautiful and aesthetic. We had a wonderful time in the king suite, it was very spacious and peaceful. There is plenty of sunlight that comes in and places to snap some photos.Thank you very much Hotel Sages and we look forward to staying there again next time!

A beautiful hotel! An oasis of peace in busy Canggu. Stylishly decorated with atmosphere.Spacious room - we stayed in room 9, nice bed, hot shower, lovely swimming pool and friendly staff.You can have breakfast in the common room, outside or in your room. There is a diverse range and gluten-free options are possible.With a scooter you can reach the sea and the center of Canggu within 15 minutes.Definitely a place we would love to come back to.

I recently stayed at King Suite, and it was an absolute delight. However, consider carefully if you want full privacy when choosing this room type.
The design and decor had a beautiful blend of modern elements and traditional Balinese touches, creating a serene ambiance with instagrammable corners.The hotel's pool area was a highlight, providing a great spot for relaxation and sunbathing. If you don’t like the sun, there is also a poolside rest area.The staff was helpful in accommodating with the requests I had.The location was also convenient, less than 20 minutes by car to the Canggu area with trendy cafes and restaurants.Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a short relaxation stay. Bear in mind it’s not a full-fledged hotel, rather it's an Airbnb. So don’t expect a variety of breakfast choices, activities and amenities.
