Great little self-checkin lodge with two big double beds, adequate bathroom space, simple kitchen with IH cooker, toaster and microwave. There’s even free laundry available! Don’t cook heavy stuff though coz your beds are just steps away and you don’t want to keep smelling the food while you sleep. It’s two blocks from the main shopping mall near the sea, and about 15min drive to the Amanohashidate. Parking is available with a short walk. Highly recommended

During our trip to Ine and Miyazu, we stayed for one night at Sakara Miyazu. The location is a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience, offering the peace of the old town while being within walking distance of various restaurants and shops. We stayed in the Pine Suite, which features two very comfortable queen-sized beds. We all had a great night's sleep. Additionally, the facility includes a laundry, which was very convenient for us.This was our first visit to Miyazu, but thanks to the extensive information provided before check-in, we knew exactly where to eat, shop, and visit. After checking out, I realized I had left my glasses in the room. The host, Yuko, promptly notified me, but I didn't see the message until I was already on the train to Osaka. Fortunately, Yuko kindly sent my glasses to my hotel in Osaka, which was a tremendous help. Without her assistance, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the rest of my trip.I highly recommend Sakara Miyazu to anyone who plans to stay in Miyazu.

I am a Japanese person who had a very comfortable stay last year.I'm a big drinker, so I apologize for the large amount of trash. The room is clean, with a large refrigerator and kitchen, and a wide variety of tableware, so you won't have any problems! My favorite restaurants and fishing spots were nearby, so I was able to spend a comfortable time there.I was tired and exhausted from work, but I felt relieved.Oh, by the way, there's no TV.I didn't need it because I don't watch TV anymore, so it wasn't a problem ^^*This is an excellent inn where you can stay with peace of mind.Thank you for your help again.P.S.Wi-Fi was also usable without any problems ✌🏻‎🤍

The room was great! There is every kind of equipment inside! The ancient house is beautiful, and the parking space is very convenient. I accidentally forgot my watch, and the boss even sent it back for me! Awesome 👍

I had an awesome stay here with my daughter. It's very accessible to Amanohashidate, the Japan sea and that cool kids park nearby. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were very clean. Overall, it was a really good experience - and nice weekend getaway. I will be staying there again on my next northern Kyoto trip!

Staff barged into our room without knocking and began filming us as they demanded payment for undisclosed charges. When we were confused and refused to pay as these were not written or communicated to us in any way, they proceeded to forcefully remove us from the hotel (which is in the middle of nowhere) at 11PM at night. They are scammers!! BEWARE!!!!!

couldnt even stay here for a night because of the noise and no privacy. we tried to call the owner but they gave us the wrong number. The staff was nice at the start till it came to the checkout when we were charged extra 20k for noise complaints when we were the ones who couldn’t sleep because of the noise. Also the wifi wouldn’t work well.

Stay away from this place! We booked this place just because they claimed to be “pet-friendly”. when we arrived they told us to put the dog in a cage in the shared area, which was in a non heated laundry space, downstairs, completely disconnected from our room!! Because it was unsafe and disturbing for both our dog and the other guests, we had to take our dog in her small cage into our room. She didn’t step a foot outside the cage and didn’t make any noise. As we were sitting in our room, all of a sudden two staff opened our door without even knocking and one of them started filming us!!! Then the owner called us and told us to leave!! When I explained that first of all they didn’t inform us of this kind of a setup. And we had to do this to prevent disturbing others. Then she asked us to pay 22,000¥ more to allow us stay! When we told it’s not legal to charge this, they got our booking cancelled and kicked us out in the middle of the night!!! In the meantime staff entered our room multiple times without even knocking!!! They should really quit hospitality business… I have been traveling all around the world for 30 years and this is the first time I have ever experienced such a treatment beyond rudeness!!!

The worst customer experience and host I have ever experienced in my life!! As a group of 4 friends, we booked this place since it claims to be pet-friendly. However when we arrived they asked us to put our dog in a cage, in the laundry room on a different floor which was completely disconnected from our room. And it was not indicated anywhere. That’s why we took her to our room in a smaller cage, to not bother other customers and also to make sure our dog was safe. Then a mind-blowing, unacceptable treatment began. While having our meal, their staff opened our door and started filming us without asking. Then the owner called and gave us two options. Either we would leave the room in the middle of the night, or we would pay 22000yen extra. Since we did not want to pay this extra which is not written anywhere, the it kicked us out in the middle of the night.I don’t recommend this place to anyone!
