Thank you for your help several times on business trips! The rooms are clean and the baths, meals, and access are all very satisfying. This is a wonderful inn where the hostess's hospitality warms your heart. I will definitely visit you again 🙇‍♂️

The inn is run by a hard-working and kind proprietress, except when a group of guests enters. Thank you for your help in the late summer heat of 35℃ 🌡️The bath is sized for up to two people, but it leaves your skin smooth and the hot water is completely different from the nearby large ryokan and apple foot baths. I didn't hesitate to take a bath until almost 10am in the morning. The food was delicious and plentiful, and by dinner time I was sorry that I couldn't touch the rice.Although the building is old, it is kept clean. Furthermore, the TV stand in the room was made by National, and the aperitif was Akadama port wine, giving it a retro Showa feel. The negative points are that the after-dinner coffee was instant, there was no refrigerator in the room (of course, there were no vending machines in the building), and I had to hold back a little when I woke up with a dry throat in the middle of the night. The proprietress told us some interesting stories, including how she inherited the over 100-year-old inn from her grandfather, and why she decided to rent out the entire building.Although there is no view from the inn, it is the best inn to enjoy a relaxing time 😊 I will visit again when it gets cooler.

A ryokan with a nostalgic atmosphere.Feel the luxury of flowing directly from the finest slippery hot springs. The building is old, but the toilets have washlets and the rooms are clean. The landlady was also kind and provided a variety of services that made me feel warm. The price was reasonable, I was very satisfied, and it was a nice hotel that I would want to come back to again. If you have a large bike, you need to be careful not to get stuck as the entrance is on a slope and the parking lot is unpaved.

All of the hot springs in Tenryukyo come from the same source, but Shinshokan is the only one that has its source flowing directly from the source.I have atopic dermatitis, but I feel like it's quite effective. The proprietress' handmade dishes look beautiful and are plentiful.I always end up eating too much. This is actually my favorite inn that I don't want to tell anyone about.I hope it continues forever.

This is an inn with good hot springs and good food. The hot springs were constantly flowing and had a feeling of cleanliness, and the quality of the spring water was slippery and very pleasant. The food was also good value for money, and the Shinshu beef grilled with Hoba was very delicious. This is a recommended ryokan if you choose it based on cost performance.
